This is the opening for the movie Dragon Ball: Mystical Adventure, which released in Japan in 1988. This is the only one out of the four Dragon Ball movies to have different scenes used in it.
And it's also my favorite Dragon Ball movie~

Actually wouldn't mind if they took this intro and included it in a dvd rerelease for the 21st Budokai arc, it be perfect and a nice change since the original just reuses the old intro

I was listening to the song repeatedly. I could've sworn they say "for your viewing history," which I thought was so awesomely meta. Unfortunately, I was wrong, but I love the actual lyrics in that spot regardless.

I feel like you could almost watch this as a substitute for the Red Ribbon and Tien Shenhan arcs. You’d just have to accept Chiaotzu and Tien left their kingdom behind, and the only other discrepancies you’d have is the episode where Goku accepts Chichi’s proposal and then all the way into the Cell arc where Goku attacking Red Ribbon base is important. I dunno, still not the biggest fan of the Red Ribbon arc in the anime(It feels like it goes on forever), and I feel like this movie does a good job mixing my favorite things about it with the Tien arc.
