The speed is the same I'd even say its faster judging by Goku vs Majin Boo. It seems toned down sometimes in this Demo because somehow it is lagging. I've read that this is the case because of the monitors overheating. They wouldn't tone the speed down because Sparking/Tenkaichi is known for its high speed / fast paced battles.

it's most likely lagging because the PS5 is locked up inside of a box to prevent people from stealing it. So the console cant really get any air.

I'm sure the PS5 handles the game just fine. You need to remember they had the consoles inside a convention center, and probably didn't account for proper ventilation. And with it being hot as balls in there alongside all the people, I'm not surprised to hear the consoles were over-heating.

People are speculating that the game was overheating because the consoles were locked in a tiny box and running all day, in the heat and all. I doubt that the game will release in this state.

The lag was probably something to do with how the ps5 were held in boxes and maybe something happend with the host. After all we did see that the first battlea were fine so it may not be some problem with the consol nor the demo. Anyway we should let bandai know about this issue so when the final game comes out, we wont suffer any problem

Shenron Aura seems like it did nothing, but for a few frames we see Goku got three buffs that immediately went away. That might be why his aura looked normal too - it either glitched, or somehow got interrupted.

You can actually tell when it’s Vegeta from super (not to be confused with “super vegeta”) because his saiyan armor is tinted gray. Saiyan armor from Z was always white.

The visual aspects of the game alone gets me hyped. What makes dragon ball fights good is how the damage on the characters and the environment go as the fight gets deeper, super stoked they put it in here and expanded on it from previous games

Yo for the SSG Goku shenron aura you can see the buff icons on screen for a split second, as well as right after the super attack, might not be implimented all the way or maybe it has another requirment. Like being in full power or something.

i like the map destruction but i would prefer a better damage model , it would be cool to have goku's outfit ruined randomly and not having always the same premade damaged skin with the blue shirt, for example he gets hit by a big attack ---> his blue gear appears like in the video and if he gets hit by another heavy attack then he loses other parts of the outfit like the blue gear but i understand that it could become hard to work on those things on all the characters

Also keep in mind at these events the consoles are running for hours straight in poor ventilation I wouldn’t take the lag issues to heart with better tuning and a proper environment this won’t be an issue

I'm guessing the lag was caused because of the systems at anime expo being up for a long time, so they overheated a little bit, causing the game to lag. That's that I'm hoping atleast, it might also just be an optimization issue.

This person isn’t spamming auto combos he is trying to put in manuals by the look of it hence the pauses in between each strike, this is calculated play , rather than auto combo spam we’ve got used to seeing Obvious there was a bit of genuine lag in the vegeta vs vegeta match It will be down to the consoles melting and not the netcode, which I don’t think it is because these aren’t player vs player matches anyway So it’s lagging offline ! Mine struggles with literally any new game nowadays Gets crazy hot playing v rising and that’s only 5 gb , So I am worried I might need a pspro5
