This game really puts the Dragonball Z story into perspective. Replaying the story makes you realize that Goku is missing for the majority of the game, always doing some sort of special training far away from everyone else while they fight their asses off. THen he comes swooping in after his special training and saves the day. This game made me realize that it is the same formula in every arc (with a slight twist in the Cell saga, where he doesn't actually beat the bad guy in the end, but the formula still applies). In the game litterally named after Goku, he is the character you play the least as (with exception of Trunks of course, just because Trunks isn't in every Arc)

The last “Easter egg” really wasn’t one but ok

I love the game. I finished the game and basically collected all the characters. Being a gamer i want more and am expecting a lot of the expansions they put out. Hopefully there’s enough content for gamers like me.

Bro the krillin thing with "It feels like not wearing anything at all", is cause the saiyan armor is durable and super light. Basically feels like not wearing anything at all, it is stated by vegeta in the very same episode.

Actually, the driving episode kinda WAS adapted from the original manga. It’s not completely filler. If you read the manga, then you know that the ‘cover’ page for each 16-page episode was often just an illustration of some kind featuring the dbz series characters. Well, for two consecutive episodes, Toriyama drew a picture of Goku and Picolo in the cars at the driving school. In the first, Picolo was driving and Goku was in the passenger seat giving advice, with a second car parked behind them. In the second, the scene is almost exactly the same, except they are now in the second car, and the car they were driving is now where the first one was parked. It is clearly wrecked. Goku, in the same pose, is now sweating, and Picolo, also in the same pose, is now red faced with concentration. So yeah, that whole filler episode was based on two pinup drawings Toriyama included as covers. I’m betting that’s the reason it was recreated here again.

If you wait to complete the missions that need the Dragon balls to resurrect your enemies, only the one's Gohan can do, until he turns super sayian then go to complete those missions the NPC will comment on the different look compared to the pip squeak with black hair. Also, you do get rewarded with that enemies community emblem after winning the battle. One of the other videos on this subject didn't mention collecting the emblems, idk why they didn't but they are important and helpful.

Kakarot is the best overall DBZ game of all time because it combines the Legacy of Goku/Buu’s Fury style + the fighting mechanics of a Budokai/Tenkaichi. It isn’t perfect but it truly encompasses everything about the world of Dragon Ball
