Looks like Piccolo nailed Raditz with the Special Beam Cannon.

The best part (and probably one of the few redeeming things about it) is how unique and literally awesome each special attack is. But even that has a very obnoxious problem. Seeing the energy beams travel. They travel for way too long. Suddenly the characters are miles apart? It really takes me out of the moment of the scene, and the scenes are the only thing that make this game cool.

Wow. I remember beating the story mode of this whole game. I like how the scene starting at 7:58 is unique during a Super attack as it happens only in the Story mode for plot sake too. So it's a unique Super Attack animation only in Story Mode. A nice touch indeed. ^^

I don't care what anyone says, but this was a good game.

The thing is Raditz would've become good like Vegeta and also be like a better brother. But he still died. It would've been cool if he was still alive.

I always hated that rock, papers, scissors shit in this game but the graphics are amazing.

I just now started watching this vid and I already see a couple of problems. For starters, before the battle with Radditz in the anime, Goku took his undershirt and boots off. Here, he just keeps them on. Also, the Special Beam Cannon doesn't pierce. And from what I remember, Radditz told Piccolo about the Saiyans (Vegeta & Nappa) after Goku had just died. I'm kind of just nitpicking here and hopefully it doesn't detract from the game's appeal.

Hello that such I see a lot of videos Tenkaichi Dragon Ball Z Ultimate and I want to say you play the game well greetings excellent xd

I'm only talking about the fighting system too. I have played the games from BT2-RB2 extensively and there are quite a few changes between the systems of BT3 and RB2 were RB has lost more mechanics than it gained. Though, once again, I have to admit the assault chases makes combat very enjoyable since you can connect rush hits between follows where in BT3 follows are more used as finishers.

Goku defeated nappa and vegeta, goku went to namek and fought frieza, turned into a super saiyan and defeated frieza, his son went ssj2, goku also was able to ascend past a super saiyan, rediscovered ssj god, also discovered super saiyan blue, and mastered ultra instinct in less than an hour... Goku achieved more than the entire race of saiyans did, so he's not really a disgrace

THE SPECIAL BEAM CANNON LOOKS BAD ASS IN THIS GAME, THE GRAPHICS ARE SURREAL, IT HASN'T BEEN A GOOD DBZ WITH THIS GOOD GRAPHICS SINCE BUDOKAI FIRST CAME OUT BACK IN 2002!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm only talking about the fighting system in this conversation. between the two, everyone knows that BT3 beats every other DBZ game out there to date. In the fighting, the styles are heavily similar and, having played both rather extensively, I feel that Raging Blast has all the aspects of the combat that BT3 has, but also has the additional things added such as more combos, raging mode, connecting attacks and blasts etc etc. And by adaptability I just mean you can do more from one attack. :D

raging blast 1 or 2? I would definitely get raging blast 2 if your looking for a game with lots of combos and attacks. It's the most similar game to tenkaichi 3 in terms of the combat system and great fun too, I'm always finding new moves and tricks. However if you're looking to just mess around a bit (create your own character, travel around the place,etc.) ultimate tenkaichi is the one for you. Both are very good games although I wouldn't bother with raging blast 1 unless you're a collector

If you haven't decide yet, get RB 1 or 2. Ultimate Tenkaichi is basically one giant cutscene and isn't fun at all. RB will keep you and your friends entertained for a long time.

Yeah, I've come to realize that. There are ups and downs to each system, at least subjective ones apparently. Personally, no matter how fun the follow-ups are, I like BT3's movement and defense systems too much to move on. But what do you meant UT has the worst combat system? Its "ULTIMATE" Tenkaichi/('Blast' in Japan). Its automatically better than both. =P QTE is true gameplay depth.

@CaledUlto Yea Me Too Until I Read Some Article Back in 2006 That The PS3 Will Use Blu-Ray Discs For All Their Games. If You Look At a PS3 Disc You'll Be Able To See The Blu-Ray Logo.

@CaledUlto Yes They Both Use Discs, but the PS3 uses Blu-Ray (which can hold alot more than a regular disc) And The 360 Uses A Regular Disc and a Regular Disc Can't Hold as Much as a Blu-Ray Disc. Hope You Understand.

I can't deny that the follow-up system is much improved, if that is what you were referring to. Those are fun. But I can't really agree with the statement RB2 has basically the same system with more added, since there are a substantial amount of things that are missing or changed form BT. What exactly do you mean by 'adaptability'. Sorry, I'm a BT3 fan so I'm picking at your reasons. :p

@yimmylong1 I actually like this game, i just hope they do add on content like characters. I never research the roster before buying these games, and is always disappointed that there is no kid goku, master roshi, evil buu and ss4 vegeta

It's the same concept near exactly but with more combinations, more connections, more moves to a character and the joy of raging mode. They've gone off a great start to make an even better one.... And then crashed into a wall and fell down two hundred feet when making Ultimate Tenkiechi. I'm not saying Tenkiechi 3's is bad. Just the adaptability and variability that was added in RB2. After all, RB2 is basically the same fighting concept but with more added. How could it be worse? Answer: UT

No matter what games they come out with. Until they bring out a game with the style of Tenkiechi 3, the fighting of Raging Blast, the cross story detail of ultimate Tenkiechi and Tenkiechi three, the rostra and arena detail of Tenkiechi 3 and finally, the graphics of the actual anime. Nothing better. Once that is done, they're done. Problem is, if they ever made that game, we'd stop buying Dragon Ball Z. Or at least, that's what they think. I'd keep buying xD

Goku's clothes are wrong. He's suppose to have the Kame School simbol in the back and in the left side of his shirt and his blue belt is suppose to be hanging. They made his clothes perfectly right during the fight with Nappa but they couldn't here? And during the fight, he was suppose to remove his blue undershirt and go barefeet.

Piccolo missed with that attack.
