Those only apply to SSJ3 and SSJ4. SSJ2 is literally just slightly spiked hair with lighting. Other than Gohan, everyone else’s SSJ2 look was almost unnoticeable from SSJ1 sometimes. At that points I’ll rather take SSJG with the slimmer body design, or SSJB with it’s beautiful aura (same with God).

Yeah idk if that's anything other than a ssj2 though. Like in dbs manga chapter 15 future Trunks uses a powered up ssj2 state to spar with ssj3 goku. While a lot of people do see this as a separate form, I think its just ssj2 and Trunks was initially just holding back. Same with vegeta against Beerus in BoG. I think its just ssj2 but with a big rage boost is all

Yeah I think ssj 2 is very underrated

I could understand why SSJ2 is underrated; appearance-wise it only adds lightning and messes with your front bangs/makes your hair subtlely spikier(unless you're not Son Gohan at the age of 9 years old). Plus, it immediately got overshadowed in the sagas after it was introduced, same with the fate as the original SSJ. I mean, as soon as SSJ2 came along, it was getting bodied by Cell after he explodes but regenerates. Then, in the saga after, its original user gets a transformation that outshines it (Potential Unleashed/Ultimate/Mystic) and another user of it achieves an entirely new upgrade to the base form (SSJ3) and the third user's uses of it aren't even acknowledged because of a third-party power boost getting all the credit for it (Majin Vegeta). Plus, as soon as Majin Saga is finished, SSJ2 gets power-crept by god forms. Ol' Super Saiyan Two had it rough.

He wasn't given any new power, it was already there. In the Super Manga, Trunks was explicitly stated to have been apprenticed to the Supreme Kai, and that granted him powers and abilities that are inherent to the office. It was a plot point because he was able to heal Vegeta after they ran out of senzu. What I'm proposing is that he may also have been granted a small amount of God Ki as part of his apprenticeship. It has nothing to do with having his inherent potential unlocked.

maybe gohan got god ki from the kais and thats how he got beast🤔 but the beast being a evolution of gohans potential unleashed form is better for the story and makes more sense

Im not questioning or invalidating your fighting abilities, but from my experience in martial arts I could very easily fall into muscle memory when doing forms/practice. I would think of it as a form of meditation, but in reality I was just entering something known as flow state. When it comes to actual fights, quick analysis and execution DOES means everything. But if you can enter flow state (or in dragon ball ultra instinct) you'll be 100% focused on the battle and it'll be like your moving your body instinctually. Ultra Instinctually, if you would LMAO

However you must be careful to not drill bad practices into your muscle memory A mistake a lot of sports martial artists do is always going all out in their practice and training and sparing as you need to learn when to hold back. Reason why it is a mistake is because when you get into the sparing part you could hurt your sparing partner by accident because you don't know how to hold back, and if you are a black belt that is even worse as the sparing match is pointless then as you are treating it as a real match to win not a learning opportunity or teaching opportunity And if you are doing a belt test then you are not really evaluating the teste's skill or knowledge of the kata up to that point you are just forcing them into a perma guarding stance or turtling. Which is why holding back during sparing is something you need to drill in for sports martial arts, especially if you are point sparing as all you need to do is just make contact and you get the point you don't need any power into it at all just speed By the way i don't like point sparing as it is a mockery of martial arts, as you throw everything you learned out the window except for a counter attack or two and just blitz for the point. Like i am all for gamifying but there are some things that are just too far as you have to break it up and go to your corner once a judge has called that one of you got a point

When the Super Saiyan was imagined before Goku achieved it, the legendary Super Saiyan was illustrated as an Ozaru silhouette with a golden hue. Guess what form you achieve right before SSJ4? Vegeta also refers to Goku as wielding power that should only be achieved in a great ape form or something to that extent while they were on Namek. Story wise it could fit.

Which is completely stupid. The Old Kai explicitly tells Gohan that the Ultimate form is better than super saiyajin in every way, and causes less strain on the user's body.
