Apologies for the video yesterday, this should hopefully be more accurate. I tested both interlaced and progressive rendering to get an idea of both. You didn't show performance in Vernworth, which requires you to progress through the story. Vernworth is where the eye of the storm is.

I seriously dont understand how games are looking worse and running worse at the same time. RDR2 looks better than this and runs 3x as fast...

I actually dont think the graphics look that bad. Character animation is pretty good but if you compare it to something like horizon forbidden west i think that looks a lot better and its doing 100+ fps at 4k native. Its hard to compare different games like for like graphics and performance wise because they all use different game engines and graphic techniques. Definitely no excuses for this game dropping down to 40-45 fps though

Hey Benchy! What is the impact you are seeing as far as electricity goes with the 4090? Even running at 300-420 watt. (We can power limit it to 70 with minor loss). I have one too, just asking to see any differences. Thanks!

did you try vernworth? That city destroys every current cpu. also gpu power usage is low in this game, even though its at 99-100% usage. Trash optimization lol wtf u doin capcom.

So that's why your performance was so low yesterday. I didn't actually realise you were at 150% scale until I watched the video again. You must have been rendering at 5K then, which would be significantly more demanding than 4K.

yeah, unfortunately though there are still areas where it drops to 40-50 especially at night time. I show closer to the end of the video. My fps goes anywhere from 45 fps to 120. There are definitely still issues with the game. Also if you're using interlaced that is supposedly not the full resolution either. Its really not that clear in the settings. I tried to demonstrate the difference between the 2 rendering modes because i dont see that covered much in videos

@@BenchmarkBoy The game is badly optimised currently. Hopefully, future patches will fix these massive FPS fluctuations. The FPS fluctuations probably cause frame spikes and stuttering and cause GPU usage to keep fluctuating.

Awful looking game. Are we in 2008 still ??? The 2000$ card can't run this shit properly, ahahahahahahahahahaahaha 😅 We are sheep indeed. The next "RTX 5090" with tiny better performance should cost 4000$, because why not, we don't deserve better anyway. I HATE modern gaming industry.

The game doesn't utilise the gpu properly. Its not really the gpu's fault
