See I always heard this, tested it out for myself and it didn't seem particularly special - then I realized my magic stat must be hot GARBAGE because I'm almost max level and most of that was spent as Assassin

Yeah totally do it. Its very good. I picked it only recently and have had alot of fun with it. Its combat is much better than Skyrim and i enjoy fighting enemies , it feels satisfying.

I like Skyrim more for other reasons but DD looks like so much fun.

There is a rock formation around devils Grove which can serve as cover where the fire drake can't get you(most of the time). You can just farm it forever.

@@introvertgamer2278 Bro Drakes and Firedrakes aren't the same. Firedrakes are exclusive to BBI (except for one of the quests in the Everfall) and are way tougher.

Yes, spellsyncing is a thing, and you can train pawns to prioritize it. When combined with Wyrmking's Ring(s), you can get spells out quite fast.

You probably knew this but if you have a pawn that is also a sorcerer you can use one of these skilld -high maelstorm -high bolide -high fulmination -high seism -high Glicel And they will create an area which if. Pawn gets near it and casts the spell it will "mirror it" You can't tell it was successful as they will say something like "Ill mirror you're spell" These will basically give them the amount of progress you had in the spell making it faster for them to cast it you can also pre-release the spell to use it again instantaneous

I'm not sure if you're aware, but a sequel has been officially announced!

Oh man I can't remember lmao but I tend to prefer High Gicel for spearing flying enemies, High Brontide for crowd control (and style points,) Holy Affinity for Holy Focused Bolt (which is incredibly deadly, I should have placed more emphasis on that) High Maelstrom because it's funny, and I'm actually struggling to recall much else 'cause I don't usually play caster - for augments I'd prioritize anything that boosts magick or reduces cast times.

It works on garms and eliminators.

It's the Grave set baybee, comes from Bitterblack Isle (level 3 armor) and to this day I have no recollection of actually getting the full set but apparently I did lmao

You can get sorcerer's band by purifying Bitterblack Gear Level 3 while you and your pawn is a blue vocation at the same time (mage or sorcerer. Dont use hybrid vocations aka assassin, MK, and MA while purifying because it lowers the chance to get colored vocation specific rings)

Legend tells of some CHADLY melee builds having high enough knockdown stats to sweep them off their feet but I've yet to experiment with that myself

​​@@ThiefofCrystals I have a warrior pawn using Twinterfang, he constantly freezes and knocks back Eliminators while I'm shooting it from the back as a ranger, giving it more chances to get knocked down. It was fun stunning bosses with teamwork

Correct! It can be important to look things up to make absolute sure though, for instance you'll naturally gain better magic offense as a Sorcerer than you would as a Mage or Magick Archer. Similarly, Assassin offers the best raw physical damage gains in the game.

Never EVER upgrade if you want your pawns to execute their spells as quickly as possible!! (excluding Miasma since it's very quick to cast and greatly benefits with increased range and damage from its upgrade). When we upgrade their spells to higher levels, we CANNOT revert back to their base level (as you know lol)*. I experimented many times and regretted upgrading. I prefer way more that my pawns just do Comestion instead of High Comestion. Or Gicel instead of High Gicel. It's faster, helps the fight more and at least does something. People always complain about how Sorcerer pawns fail to cast or just... don't do anything other than charge their staff with their core skills. That's because there's multiple reasons to that. First is: *they have too much skills to choose.* The *less* they have, the more *they will use the few spells.* Buff spells shouldn't be given since they will mostly focus on using that unless if you don't mind them to buff you with elements. But then that's more a Mage than a Sorcerer... Second, *giving them core skills* makes it *worse* for Sorcerer/Mage pawns since they *will focus on using them* more often than spells. (I've tested and they performed worse with core skills. They just do them like a lazy pos instead of cast spells. I preferred to NOT give any core skills at all.) Not even focused bolt. And they performed better. Much better honestly. Third, *inclinations.* Utilitarian HAS to be the first since it *promotes somewhat spell casting* and better *positioning.* Second should be Challenger. It works well with Utilitarian. The rest turn the Sorcerer pawn into a mess. And finally, it's also important to mention *augments.* Since they also *promote actions that pawns will take.* For example, *Eminence encourages the pawn to jump and attack.* This is very useful if your pawn is a Strider and has Helm/Skull/Brain Splitter skill. You probably know some of these but this is also for people that might not know and happen to stumble upon our comments. Hope you don't mind it haha. Hopefully this helps you and others that find this comment!

​@@byeebitch Well I already added the core skills for my Mage/Sorcerer pawn, and upgraded all the mage spells to the high version. For sorcerer spells, I've left all sync-able spells at base version for now thankfully. I hope in DD2 they let you choose to equip base version of spells even if you have upgraded to high version, and also allow you to unequip core skill. Can't wait to see how they will handle DD2, just playing other more recent Capcom games and seeing what they can do, the potential is incredible.

Well, I also forgot to mention that this is *AI* we're talking about so we have to consider that they're not the smartest bunch but they're also amazing when you know what to give them and what not to give them. So far i've only played as Strider up until mid level,then i changed to magic archer until its max,then maxed out rangerand completed the game with max assassin,but after seeing this and other videos about Mages and Sorcerers,i've been utterly amazed and just wanting to do my New game plus as both of those and wreak vengeance upon all those enemies and bosses that stunned and killed me with ease 😹 plus this motivates me to actually go explore Bitterblack more instead of giving up instantly after the Gazer 😹 So,i must thank you for such a good guide 😸

Have you SEEN focused holy bolt? Sure those other two can perhaps burst higher, nothing beats Sorcerer for absurd, consistent damage all day every day, no skill required. When you can beat Death using one basic attack, you know that being a nerd is for you!

While there is only one in-built save file, if you have your system set up such that you can access the files (pc or have your console connected to one) you can extract the save file to swap save files. There is also a mod for multiple saves in-game.

If you on console just play the game on a new user profile
