Just because people think it's meant to be a fighter they think it's bad. UT is not a fighter. It's meant to be cinematic like the show is. It's a good game becase it does what it was trying to accomplish very well.

Uh no, not even close. This game was advertised as the next series into the budokai tenkaichi games. This game was advertised as a fighter so we must treat the game as a fighter. You can’t defend game, there’s a reason why this game failed and is considered the worst dragon ball game of all time(that’s right, it’s considered worse than Dragon Ball Z Sagas). The only thing this game did great was the look of the game, and the game actually remastered and redrew a few of the original anime scenes.

its a quick time event arcade game! I think we should've had a fight stick more akin to one of those lever less button ones to play this as the combination of buttons would be pretty frantic in a fast past mode of wits and reflex!

Even though I hated the rock paper scissors, this game is still fun to look at. They did do really well with recreating the scale and cinematic effect of the fights. The character creation was also pretty neat.

Yeah the ground tentacles have a wonky pattern for me too. I still can't dodge them 100%

That's what you get when everyone copies someone else when the game first came out, this is the closest thing to DBZ we have so far

Rock-paper=scissors has 3 options, this has 2. One person said it now everybody does... If you look at it and play it with the mindset that it's a fighter then you're not going to find it enjoyable. It's enjoyable because of how cinematic it is.

it's a DBZ game so it's meant to be a fighter? then what's Attack Of The Saiyans, Goku Gekitouden, Legendary Super Warriors, Legacy Of Goku etc. Thin air? No, it's not meant to be a fighter. does it look like it's meant to be a fighter? No. B3/BT are fighters, it what way is this similar? Sequel to RB2? Don't know where you got this from. A sequel would be RB3 If you look, the alternate names would have fit better. Saiyan Rising etc. All the saiyan names. Sonic 06 is incomplete, not this.

it's supposed to be a fighter. its japanese name is "ultimate blast", the sequal to rb2. the graphics and cinematics are indeed very good butthat's all it does, no action like in budokai/tenkaichi. just 5 punch combos and some scenes. it's a dbz game thus it's supposed to be a fighter. besides, it's an incomplete game: so many characters missing but their attacks are in the hero mode like cooler and videl, many characters don't have base forms and gogeta appears but not SSJ4 goku and vegeta

i was about to say it's incomplete like sonic 2006 the games you mentioned are great non fighters, but this game is just repetetive gameplay: 5 hit squere/X combo then rock paper scissors, my first comment was just for laughs but i seriously don't understand what's enjoyable about this, it's a spit to the face to dbz gamers
