Powercreep personified...until Wis'adel. Irene is still my personal favourite character though, so I am a bit salty that she got powercrept so severely lol.

well, atleast she isn't like chen who is unusable in the current meta. Irene is still by no means a weak operator. Degen is just powerful

well, Irene still has hope on her 2nd module. as the base are 10% skill damage and the upgrade most likely increase her defense ignore

@k_a4685 it could make her better against high defense enemies. well, tbh I think Degen still wins. Auto Recov and consistent CC still better than Irene's Levitate inconsistency and Offensive Recov.. I think that module will make her a better unit but not enough to compete with Degen. Just enough to make her extra viable even tho shes already a really viable unit

@@k_a4685Relistically, I doubt that Even if Irene some how got 80 atk base stats module (the highest amount for Swordmaster rn, which belong to ch'en module) and they upgrade her talent to 75% def ignore (triple the amount of Degen)... it would still not enough Again 0 def enimies : Irene deal 28350 dmg, while Degen deal 36834 dmg, more than 8kdmg different Again 1500 def enemies (which is realy high already), ... Degen still win, Irene deal 22987 dmg while Degen deal 23222 dmg Enemies with higher stats than this tend to have greater weight, so less dmg for Irene This is not factor others unities Degen has and how easy she can be set up So in conclusion, Irene is just dead

She was even a meme before that. Viviana’s kit is like a year 1 op. Except some of the ops in that year are actually better. Her biggest issue is her kit is kinda all over the place.

@2265Hello Eh I think thats a bit of an exaggeration. Shes definetly kind of mid in the current meta. But she would have actually been valuable in year 1. There weren't many options for melee arts damage other than like Mousse i think? And massive collections of 6 stars werent as common back then either so the options were a lot more lacking. But ofcourse its no longer year 1 meta so that doesnt really matter.

Making vivianna a ramping arts defender categorically would've been more interesting, not gonna lie. The added stats alone from the archetype would've helped her immensely. Also HG kind of did her dirty with that gameplay design.

A pretty good buff partner for her is Heidi S1, it gives a similar damage increase to Skalter S3 while also matching every single S3 unlike most other buffers.

Love your videos in general since they feel like the most objective critique possible, while also providing valuable insight on the operator themselves. I especially like your style of presentation, since its easy to look at, clear and aesthetically pleasing. The only critique id personally have would be spoiling bosses outside of global, for anyone thats trying to remain spoiler free for major event bosses, like myself for this case, for the last enemy in 2:45. I understand wanting to provide the viewer with future information itself, so i get why it was there, and why it would help people. I belong to a minority of people doing it, so ill have to refrain watching the hindsight videos, but i still hope for the best for you and your success in the future, since for me personally no one compares to your videos in the ak cc space.

I think they tried to separate it with Irene's OFFENSIVE. Though, clearly the biggest separation is not in the SP cost/skill timing.

For mass appeal. Too many people think off rec is hard to use. So they sacrificed the integrity of the branch to have her sell more. Personally as a Chen user it's downgrade to me.

I have been baffled since launch in that case. 1) Why is a Core Caster able to deal more AOE Arts damage and generally better than a Splash Caster? 2) Why is an arts guard able to overshadow most of the Casters in Arts damage for years? 3) Why is a Brawler Guard able to replace the role of vanguards for most stages in early game despite not generating DP and can lanehold even better? If we are talking about just sub-classes, why is Lappland the only Lord unit who only has attack recovery skills? All the rest have at least 1 auto recover skill. Why? Whhhhhyyyyy?😂 In all honesty, those who think that all future units should follow a subclass "specialty" should go back and look at the "exceptions" available since launch or else there will constantly be *Shocked Pikachu Face* 😂

it's pull priority, not really a commentary on Ray power it makes logical sense for creators to say this but it's created a sort of anti-Ray echo chamber when she's not only a top-tier sniper but also an excellent complement to W and Ela (W is not dealing with single targets at range like Ray is)

@@galeria_m owh you meant this 19:43? See the scores instead, it's more accurate. Ray's scores similar to Ascalon but the graph indeed lower, Shu's also lower than Ela.

In the future for modules could you have the level 2 numbers as well? At least in the module section? You have ~15.4% for level 1 and ~24.9% at level 3 but I was curious about what level 2 gives

I have slightly different numbers but level 2 and 3 both give roughly 5% per level, so imo you can stay with level 1 if you’re low on blocks for now since the upgrades are more min-max than other upcoming modules.

@@JPOG7TV depend, do you plan to go for the limited collab that is really close to us ? If you have enough spare resources then I would say yes, Degen is considered to be the (arguably) strongest guard in the game rn, being on pair with Mlynar. The gap between her and Irene is so big that is not funny anymore. But if you are tight on pulls then you can skip her, consider her event will get a rerun next year

What the mean of "non-limited banner that does not rerun" ? Is that operator never have rerun banner but still included in standard banner?

It means she won't get Solo banner rerun, Her event won't have Rerun Some Event and the featured operator can have Rerun It means if u want her, this is only best time to do it otherwise u just expect to get her from off rate which much harder Want buy her from shop? 2 years wait for that

So for 2 week events with ex stages like this one the event's banner reruns with the event. Vignettes (no ex stages, you unlock story with those record things) dont rerun, therefore neither the banners that run with them. Either way, the operator gets added to the standard pool

You can bench him in most normal stages because he's an overkill button most of the times yes.

Degenbrecher still doesn't do true damage, so there are situations where Mlynar is better, especially with his giant silly range and long uptime. Just put him in the square behind her and then forget that quarter of the map exists.

shes more newbie friendly than Mlynar is and in late game, she's up there as one of the best guards. One could argue the best guard or the second best guard depending on the person so yes, VERY worth the pull. personally, i dont like to play along the meta and just like enjoyable gameplay so anyone too broken isn't up my alley. id rather skip her and pull Ray.

Nope, all 3 invul phases cannot be bypassed as far as i know, so you'd have to do 3 separate degen s3's to kill him off

I think the 4 invul phases can be bypassed. When he do the steal-the-tower move, he cant use other skills (the invul skill).

I'm only specifically talking about degen's s3 anyway, there should be plenty of videos in bilibili that does 1 shot harold, but they need massive investment and very specific ops so you're usually better off just doing the clear normally, besides rs-7 is generally much better to do as manganese ores are more in demand that crystal conponents

SSS is not difficult content and you can make anyone broken in it. even then, irene is not the best for that gamemode, that title should go to other ops.

The fact she not only powercreeps Irene (who already powercreeped Ch'en to dead), but she also is a top level nuker, on the same level as Surtr, Mlynar, Ch'en alter, or Texalter, it already shows the direction the game is taking

Okay so I want to start a debate. Who is better, Degenbreacher or Mlynar? For me is personally still mlynar, since if you're only using Degenbreacher as a Nuker, you won't really use her skills everytime it's available. So technically Mlynar damage is way higher than Degenbreacher I will leave the rest in the replies

The thing you guy dong notice is that she actually is a good lane holder and her normal attack of skill does like a lot of damage , also she is like mad tanky for some reason like she just 30% tankier than irene . Her alone make almost every defender and lane holder a joke . Mlynah suffer way too much from sp and really bad skill cycle but degen have none of it , arknight stage tend to spawn a elite enemy every 30s( same downtime with degen) if you use mlynah he often kill 2 wave and then cant deal with 2 more wave , degen just get rid of every wave of elite , her skill cycle make her way better than mlynah in 90% situation imo

@@dangng7079 Mlynar is extremely tanky for ranged attacks to the point people put him in enemy sides. He also has more and longer damage than Degen. You could at best argue she is a bit better way better is fucking ridiculous

I hate, no, I HATE how she is broken, same as Walter HG just spits on their own rules S3 should be offensive recovery and even then her damage outperform others, i'd nerf it also AND EVEN THEN she would be viable because of her disarm mechanic "DISGUSTING!" Karen.png
