This guy is adorable, and you can tell how much he enjoyed playing this character. I have to say --- massive respect to the late Keiji Fujiwara, but Ardyn is one of the few characters where I actually prefer the English voice. Darin De Paul simply IS Ardyn.

I forgot to mention that one of my closest buddies was at Katsucon and got me a signature from the man himself on a Reinhardt print. Darin De Paul said that I am his shield!

And let it be known, on Thursday, the 13th of July, Darin De Paul finally got his wish to be on Critical Role, with the character he had first made when playing with Matt's Mother in their game, 37 years ago.

I came for Ardyn....fuck...him hugging everybody is so epic.....I love you Darin....that was so uplifting in this tumultuous time....

When he started hugging everyone with such genuine and kind energy... I actually started to cry, such a sweet heart and great man.

What an amazing man. Suits the character of Reinhardt perfectly and shows it in real life, loves his job, loves his fans, loves his fans. Other voice actors should take notes from this guy.
