Pretty much, the story goes that a king was trying to build a castle on a hill, but every night, it would be knocked down and nobody knew why. So after the third (or something) time, the king ordered for a local child to be sacrificed to appease the Gods / God, as people came to the conclusion that they were punishing the king. However, the child had plot armour and somehow correctly identified that two dragons, one white and one red, were fighting underneath the castle, and so they dug a hole in the hill and low and behold the two dragons came out and began to fight. The red one won and the flag was created, the red dragon representing the victorious dragon, the white representing the dead white dragon and the green representing the hill. Also the child was Merlin. Don’t ask.
