If Drake just turned 21 that means this interview is probably from october or november 2007

I think it’s dope drake admits he’s not proud of dropping out while simultaneously priding himself on being more of an intelligent rapper as opposed to gangster rap. It shows schools not necessarily the most important thing, rather knowing what you want to do and having the will to act on it

This interview is from 2007. Degrassi didnt beomce famous until 2008, like late 2008. (well, for USA. idk about Canada).
@manuellaxxo238911 жыл бұрын
You need to change the title because he was already famous and was known for his role as Jimmy Brooks on Degrassi.
@lfcforever14825 жыл бұрын
manuella xxo Degrassi isn’t popular worldwide though, it’s mostly just known in Canada, whereas Drake is literally the most popular hip hop artist right now and has been for the last 8 years now. So the title makes sense

Nas had a good record in 2008 called N.I.G.G.E.R. that was changed to untitled. Saul Williams also had a good record out in 2007 the Inevitable Rise and Liberation of Niggy Tardust. They both dealt with the N-word and the ideas of race in an honest way that reflects their lives. Drake could bring a unique and different perspective, but is he that kind of artist? I think he's got the intelligence and creativity, but it really couldn't be in a pop lane. That would be amazing if Drake came out with a record dealing with black culture as a bi-racial man, because a lot of people are still struggling with that perspective. And the world surely could use some help in bringing people together..... Just some thoughts..
