He has a 2000 model 767… There’s a few up for sale right now including a 2008 for 29.9 million which has less Total Time on engines, less landings etc. a 97’ 767-300ER 9.5 million. Drake also leases this plane from cargo jet. It was never “given” to him.

Brand new, the 767 may have cost that. At least if you bought 1. Big airliners get massive discounts due to the amount they order. This jet is old, drinks a lot of fuel etc. It’s maybe worth 30-ish million at max.

I would LOVE to spot at YHM to see Cargojet, I absolutely love the airline! Only ever got to see one of their 767s once in Cologne, sadly they’re not so common in Europe. Thanks a lot for the kind words!

The plane wasn’t worth ANYTHING near $185M. They were decommissioning the plane. This is what is annoying about social media is that people over inflate the numbers. It’s expensive enough without glamorizing and over stating the cost.

Dude is the 3rd owner of a jet. I worked 767 for years and they’re cargo planes AFTER they’ve done their time as airliners. Now back to airliner. Still pretty badass tho. Lovely plane

Been lucky to be inside of it which is insanely nice. I worked as a Line Technician when he flew into the Super Bowl we had to handle everything so it was a pretty unique experience

This plane will never cost 185 million. Drake has a 2000 Boeing business jet 767. There’s quite a few up for sale right now. A 2008 767-700igw for 29.9 million A 97’ 767-300ER 9.5 million. Also, he leases this plane from Cargojet. It wasn’t “given” to him.

It’s not worth $185m. It’s a old passenger bird (not cargo) that was retrofitted for BBJ (Boeing business jet) use. It’s also a 767-200, the older model and this bird is likely over 35 years old!
