This is a great video Doug - there’s a lot to Drambo and this has helped me get to grips with a few things I hadn’t touched yet. Looking forward to more Drambo videos in the future.

Drambo is a masterpiece from the developer when it comes to programming. But probably too hard for beginners, despite the existing presets. And even as an advanced user, you can quickly lose yourself in such a modular system, just as it is with a real modular setup. But if you develop the ambition to get used to it, you get an almost infinite number of possibilities. But it's not an app that you can use to make music quickly. It's more of an app for very long evenings.

Very good tutorial. Thanks for that. This Drambo is really something. Just amazing. For me as a person not knowing anything about synths it is of great help. Specially building one. But I can tell you, watching your tutorials and reviews cost some money 🤣.

Fantastic Doug, I've been needing the Recap. think I caught some on Sound for more and Ben Richards but when there's no External Clock option in AUM (SORT IT OUT JONATAN YOU ARE LOOSING YOUR FACE WHILST RELYING ON YOUR 2012 MACBOOK PRO), DRAMDO, APE-MATRIX AND BM3 ARE REALLY THE ONLY OTHER OPTIONS!!! is there a way i can use drambo with my irl rack? struggling to figure out how. if there's a video of how to set up please send my way....

Thanks I’m still a newb with a lot of the modules. I started by using it almost strictly as an AUv3 host then gradually moved out from there. Would have an AUv3 instrument per track followed by effects. The sequencer isn’t my fav but you can record straight into the Drambo sequencer from other sequencing apps quick and easy using MidiTools by the guy who makes Atom.

I'm in the middle of watching this very helpful video, Doug. I'm at the bit where you're trying to build a super-synth out of AUv3s, and suddenly you don't have any sound. Are you on iPadOS 14.5 or higher? I ask because I'm on 14.6 and I'm using an iPad Air 4, and I find that the unit chokes if I have too many sound-producing apps going at once. Only “fixes” I've found are power-cycling the iPad, and turning off all apps in the App Switcher. It very much sucks. I'm hoping iPadOS 15 fixes this.
