Note 1. Intro : at the last@2nd@3rd last sentence 2. Conclusion : “…still to look at” 3.Limitations : they can overcome, but there is still away that hadnt been covered yet 4. identify why is it important 5. Systematic review : use keyword like- understand/ lack of 6. Go to journal websites : most relevant for you / they are like magazines / newspapers . Recommended bcause it has highly influential people who comment on the journal & it have key concepts which academicians look at recently ( a minefield for expert) 7. State of the art papers : good way to pickup a topic 8. Ask your research advisor - go to them with ideas, sit down and discuss it 9. Attending conferences - look for it whether physically/online/virtual . You can look at what they do , and you can try to expand it. Or take it from another approach . Listen to those with aspiring researchers etc or go talk to them if you’re confident enough

With all due respect, there are so many of these videos of these videos around now. But realistically, it is swimming insider a cup of tea. Nobody can tell you how to find a good research topic and develop a good research question. Do your own research, and check the method sections before anything else, if the method sections are not of high standards, drop the paper entirely. If you access a systematic review, make sure it actually provides a meta analyses. There is so much smoke in the eye kind of research out there that it is sad to watch. Selfishness was always a plague in STEM, with social media today it is becoming even worse. You are great for trying to share knowledge, but let's be truthful, most PIs are there to try and take credit for your work, and so are most male colleagues.
