Ай бұрынLok Sabha Election Phase 1 Voting Updates: Voting for the first phase of Lok Sabha elections began today at 7 am on 102 seats spread across 21 states and Union Territories. Over 16.63 crore people are eligible to cast their vote in the first phase.
Polling for the first phase of Lok Sabha elections commenced today at 7 am on 102 seats spread across 21 states and Union Territories. In the first phase, voting will take place on all seats in Tamil Nadu (39), Uttarakhand (5), Arunachal Pradesh (2), Meghalaya (2), Andaman and Nicobar Islands (1), Mizoram (1), Nagaland (1), Puducherry (1), Sikkim (1) and Lakshadweep (1).
Besides these, there will be voting in 12 seats in Rajasthan, eight in Uttar Pradesh, six in Madhya Pradesh, five seats each in Assam and Maharashtra, four in Bihar, three in West Bengal, two in Manipur, and one seat each in Jammu and Kashmir, Tripura and Chhattisgarh.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi-led National Democratic Alliance is seeking a third successive term at the Centre. The Congress, along with its INDIA bloc allies, will look to stage a comeback at power after major drubbing in the 2014 and 2019 general elections.

I’ve lived in Tamil Nadu for over 10 years so can speak with experience. Tamil people are very kind, cultured and tolerant. The Dravidian politics has been insulting and undermining the Hindus in Tamil Nadu for a long time but the abuse hurled at them and their faith has crossed all limits of decency. The conversion rate is very high and the conversion method is many times coercive and deceptive. The control and loot of Hindu mandirs is also a form of abuse, intimidation and intolerance. Time people stand up for their basic rights and dignity.
