The plot is so beautifully made even though it's just a simulation randomly generated, like: •She had a loving husband and family •Her cat which she truly love died •She names her newest child after them •She becomes a crime scene investigator •She (likely) felt some inspiration of the people who commit awful crimes without much reason whatsoever, and even learns what evidence that gets you caught •Her husband is rich, but a prenup means she can't divorce him for the money •A prenup doesn't cover murder Like, it just is so fitting, I have no words

I love how you made her a villain that, while she had redeeming qualities, she still failed to live up to them. The way Selkie lived was akin to that of a sociopath- and I mean the clinical definition of a sociopath, not the definition of one that we commonly hear in the media(that is more befitting of a clinical psychopath- though that's another matter). Sociopaths have, above all else, impaired empathy from, at the absolute least, a cognitive standpoint. They can establish bonds and feel compassion for others, but they have a harder time associating with even those they care for- the people they care for and the norms of society have less of a bearing on their actions and decisions. In regards to her character, this is best exemplified in her genuine love towards her cat, her sister, and even her daughters, with her even suffering depression when one of the lattermost died. This brings me to my second part on the matter of sociopathy- a lot of true sociopaths are overly-emotional and impulsive at best, and reckless and violent at worst. They let revenge and snap-judgement mindsets cloud their thought process, which leads to consequences in due time. In Selkie, this is best exemplified by her lack of responsibility for herself and her criminal behavior, as well as her fickle mindset- in her life, she only killed due to stress or out of a sense of immature vindication, found herself forced to escape prison more than once, and had three husbands- two of them dying at her hand. Overall, I wanted to praise you for making Selkie more than just a psychotic murderer, at least from a narrative standpoint. You didn't make her purely evil; you still gave her something recognizably human in her mindset and even her behavior, even if it failed to change her for the better.

i’ve been cheesing the game by whenever i kill someone if the cops show up i just close out the game entirely and reboot it and it acts as if it never happened, you have to do it before you finish the arresting pop up though, or the game saves it
