Froslass actually does eat some of her prey, and just keeps the handsome dudes frozen as decorations. Ghost pokemon are so messed up but I love them lol

I think Froslass’ skin is purple underneath the skull/ice thing because she was a woman who died of hypothermia, it can make your skin frostbit and blue/purple I have a slow brain I just figured that out

Y'know, apparently -- if the anime is to be believed -- the guy who writes the Pokedex entries -- Professor Westwood V (the Fifth) -- isn't always truthful when writing his Pokedex entries, which I can believe, because the Pokedex claims that Spoink's heart will stop if it ever stops bouncing. If that was true, how does Spoink not die when it faints?

Oh my god this episode was incredible. PLEASE do more of these "draw a Pokemon based on solely its Pokedex entry" episodes! If you do, I'd like to make some special requests/suggestions (below so no one who might draw gets spoiled): -Kadabra -Gorebyss -Darumaka -Sliggoo And of course SO MANY of the ghosts have amazing entries, you could just do multiple ghost-themed episodes. IMO some of the best are Haunter, Gengar, Misdreavus, Dusclops, Drifloon, Yamask, Jellicent, Phantump, Gourgeist, Sandygast, and Mimikyu (especially its Busted Form). Or honestly you guys could do an Ultra Beast episode, which would be pretty fun. Buzzwole, Guzzlord, Poipole, and Blacephalon have especially hilarious entries! (And honestly I just want to see one of you guys try to draw Celesteela, from memory or by name or by Pokedex entry or by description, WHICHEVER. It's just... a lot. There's so much going on in that design.)

Fun fact: Froslass and Snorunt are likely based off the Yukionna and the Yuki Warashi, two yokai of japanese folklore. For more information on the Yukionna, read the pokedex entry as it describes the Yukionna pretty much to the T. She's a messed up dame, that one! the Yukiwarashi, on the other hand, is an adorable snow kid who just wants to play and be pampered for the winter, after which it disappears come spring and comes back the next year. It's a precious little snowball. unless it's based off the Yukinko. At which point it's a whole different snow baby, and a much more malicious one: The Yukinko pairs up with the Yukionba, another snow woman monster. The Yukionba is found cradling the Yukinko in the snow and asks travelers to hold the baby, and if they do, the still-teething Yukinko freezes them in a block of ice to feed it's Yukionba wet-nurse. that's terrifying.

I got Froslass in literally the first five words. "The soul of a woman" gave it away.
