Felicia, I am thankful i began reading many of your blogs - before- i jumped into, and started using water colors for painting. you are an excellent instructor / teacher of water colors, and drawing, and sketching. Now. I will jump into apply technical and fun for my first water color painting… the reference of upside down kitty cat you graciously offer for FREE download! Then, my second or third water color painting will be attempts at my selfie of my "galaxy eye" in this instruction video. I now can safely classify myself as a “beginner” who wants to be an “apprentice”. My “new” goal is to become a “finalizer” as you wrote In your blogs: ….”beginners" have different objectives. Those who are ready to learn a little technique, interested in the medium itself, we will call them "apprentices". felicia, this video is awesome! i am a novice and the method of your written decription in combination watching your video is my kind of hands-on learning style. i just need watch your video couple more times, and then take a photograph of my eye. i goofed ordering Sakura Pocket Set Koi Watercolor Kit, 24 Colors Count... these colors are too bright. i then ordered and just received Winsor & Newton Professional Water Colour Field Box, 12 Half Pans. my studio working space is only 2 feet by 3 feet, and these small water pallets are what fit nice in my tiny art studio. in a couple days i hope to have an eye for you to "critique" and comment how i can approach to improve it. thank yo so much Danny G Peace. be safe.
