It's cool seeing JJ able to talk in long-form about something he is so clearly passionate about, I was impressed he was able to identify a cartoon and the artist who drew it just from your description of the image.

An interesting point to know about Bush... His cabinet had the most name recognition imaginable. Like name people in the Biden administration. Anthony Blinken, that secretary of defense guy who was hopitalized? That woman with white hair who's in charge of the treasury..? Keep in mind this is from a terminally online person over here. But you can get any person remember Dick Cheney, Condolezza Rice, Colin Powell, and so on. It really feeds into the narrative that he was "puppetered."

Gerald Scarfe's caricatures are incredible, I've always loved just how monstrous and grotesque his renderings of politicians and world leaders. That degree of disgusting distortion is such a powerful statement in of itself, these bastards wield so much influence over our lives, but they can't control the contempt and scorn we feel for them.
