I'm pretty sure that was a nearly a legitimate line in "the things they carried" but I'm not sure I read in Highschool. The concept of knee suckling is suck a weird technically pg13 act that it stays with you when it pops up, the only other case that comes to mind is ted talking about Robin's knees in himym

Suggestion: in many animal species, the males put on colorful show to draw in the female. Many birds, like the superb bird of paradise, carolina parotia, costa’s hummingbird (aka squidface), or the greater sage-grouse, flash their plumage but also mudskippers, smooth newts, and peacock spiders put on a beautiful (and hilarious) display to attract mates. I’d love to see the Drawfee crew take these creatures looking for love and turn them into humans. Really wanting to see Karina design some beautiful clothes for some poor little guy looking for love

Suggestion: The original power rangers series had a monster-of-the-week structure with villains that, thanks to fx makeup and costuming, had VERY silly designs. I would love to see y'all draw some of them based on name and/or description! Some good ones would be Pudgy Pig, Eyeguy, Shellshock, or Spitflower!

I'd also be happy if they made up some of their own. Dino Thunder had a simple formula where all monsters were a combination of an animal, a plant, and a machine. Generate a random selection of the three things and let the drawfee gang go wild.

When I saw the prompts I wanted to see Julia do "20. SPYDER PRIEST", "22. engraved owl", or "26. depiction of the body" SO BAD. But honestly I think she would have made the same exact drawing for 26 as she did for the actual prompt and I am haunted by it.

the "ghosts arent out in the morning because they are awake at night" conversation reminded me of something! there's a popular childrens story in Germany about a ghost that experiences exactly that. it's biggest dream is to see the world during the day! but it's sleep schedule is determined by a the town hall's clock and it just cant stay up past sunrise. at some point, that clock is adjusted the wrong way, and the little ghost starts waking up at noon instead of midnight. lots of schenanigans ensue and it's honestly super cute! i even saw it performed as a play in an actual castle ruin when I was a little kid

drawing suggestion: classic paintings mashup! everyone chooses two famous paintings and combines them, either changing the style of one to the other or combining different compositions. a few examples: starry night - da vinci’s mona lisa gustav klimt‘s the kiss - alphonse mucha‘s medea warhol‘s marylin monroe - scream

Suggestion: Draw digimon or tamagotchi based on their virtual pet sprites alone. That's how the original digis/tamas were designed, sprite first then an official drawing based on the little sprite.

Suggestion: you should try drawing Discworld characters that you've never heard of/based on their descriptions! There are so many incredible characters, like Nobby Nobbs, Moist von Lipwig, and the Hogfather! These are my favourite books, and I think they could always use more love 🥰 GNU Terry Pratchett
