Judging from what people say in the lego community, nearly everyone agrees this is overpriced. The average amount people think this is overpriced by varies a ton, but I've heard anywhere from 100 dollars to 250 dollars be an acceptable pricepoint for what is offered. People outside the loop that I've asked personally generally think 100-150 is an okay price and that is considering that they know Lego is an expensive product. In my eyes 200 dollars is already an outrageous price to ask for this, but 300 completely misses the mark. It is sad for people that are really into Zelda or just want the cool minifigures, as the aftermarket prices on those will be insane with no alternative way to get them. Having figures like this, or the Nazgul for the GWP Fell Beast behind a truly massive paywall is just ethically wrong. It makes Lego look like a draconian company and nothing like the gentle giant that is making really good (and affordable) kids toys. Seriously, this set .. if it was going to be made at all, should have been accompanied by at least 3 to 5 normal priced sets in the genre. This is just an extreme example of corporate greed, both by Lego and Nintendo alike.

That side built with Link in it, should be a 15-25 dollar set released alongside this. I wouldn't buy that one either, but at least it is a way to get the minifigure and keep that price reasonable.
