Does a giant musical rock count? On Easter Island there is a rock that if you blow in it makes a sound. Natives fought and died over it, really interesting story pretty similar to fighting over disk honestly. People will go to war over anything. A stray dog, pigs, a bucket, and litterally someone saying that they wanted to sit on a chair. These are all real wars that happened just Google it if you want to learn some interesting history. I wonder at what point, like on like a human level, Dream decided to make it a roleplay/story. Like at what point did it go from a couple of pals playing a game to a full-blown lore built story. And how inevitably they discussed this together and were like "yeah Wilbur is joining, he's going to set a revolution into action, just go with it"..."Karls joining, he's a time traveler"..."don't mind Ranboo...he's doing... somethin"

The beginnings of the disk sage were relatively unplanned, but dream brought up the idea of planning beforehand at that time already, just to make sure everything runs smoothly. It only began to be an actual cinematic, scripted story when wilbur joined. He was inspired by Hamilton. None of the lmanburgians knew that eret was gonna betray them, but they all knew that lmanburg was gonna be blown up that first time. Up to the election, they planned everything for different possible outcomes. For instance, if tommy had won the bow duel, something else would have happened. If (spoilers for election result ahead) wilbur and tommy had won the elections, there was a whole storyline planned out for that. More recently, they stopped doing that and instead plan most things completely in advance. Right now, the story is roughly outlined for the next three months. But there are still things that are decided on spontaneously or only very shortly before the streams, like (spoiler alert for Tommy's 1st of march stream) when tommy died, they only planned that that was gonna happen the day before. Correct me if im wrong, i have the info from dream and Tommy's eboys podcast and wilburs just chatting streams.
