Maybe music doesn't always have to be "complex" to be good. Rather than waiting for something to happen maybe just bob your head a little and see if you can sink into the grove. I personally love the vibe of repetitiveness with subtle changes under a strong beat but I also grew up with aphex twin's selected ambient works vol 2... but to each your own :-D

Dream clearly had an idea in their head when they made this and I think the execution is on point. I've been blasting this tune for what feels like a decade and it's definitely one of my favorites. I didn't even notice that was Skrillex. 9 years ago. Huh. I was one of the many in the dubstep community who hated his stuff back in the day. Took me years to finally appreciate his contributions. Cool guy who obviously loves music.

His recent single 'My Love' has smashed the charts recently in the UK hitting Number 1 so hopefully can see some more releases from him as he's got a lot of unreleased stuff.
