So the red form of Dream is called Nightmare and the red and black form of Dream is called Night Terror. Night Terror is the strongest out of Dream's three forms with powers beyond anything the other two forms of Dream can do. Nightmare appears when Dream's friends die and normal Dream is almost dead or dead. Nightmare is able to do some powers but can be still killed by powerful beings like Herobrine and normal players with a flower curse (watch Dream vs Tommyinnit for the latter one). Night Terror appears when all of Dream's friends are dead and Dream dies while in Nightmare mode. As far as we know Night Terror is unbeatable and the most powerful being in the animations.
