@@p0laroideu I think part of it is Gahyeon and Handong might not have had enough time polishing their skills as a trainee and Handong was still working on her Korean. You can see the growth, though. As they became more and more confident and polished, they got more and more lines.

@@p0laroideu imo, i don't think it's because DCC listen to what handong said YWY but more to how Handong and Gahyeon vocals improved. If you compared their vocals from chase me era until now, you will noticed that their vocal improve soo much. This is why the producer have no problem to put Handong and Gahyeon in more difficult line.

@@yuucola4145 Handong always had great vocals though, she literally graduated a musical/vocal school. I can imagine her having to polish her Korean though.

I agree that the lines were actually distributed out based on each of their strong suits. Handong has always been great at conveying emotion with soft, but powerful vocals, and I really like her little bridge part as dual centre with Yoohyeon. I think the amount of lyrics she has is about the same, if not more, than what Gahyeon has, it's just that her parts are of a faster tempo. It's like the case with the rapline; in numbers and by visual representation, they don't seem to have a lot of screen time or lyrics, but it's actually just because their flow is a lot faster in tempo. DCC did a really good job with sharing the amount of lyrics around this time. Also, I really like the experimenting they're doing with two person harmonies (same as Siyeon-Yoohyeon in 'Odd eye') and that SuA and Handong were also given the opportunity to sing the high section that would otherwise have been Siyeon and Yoohyeon's in other songs. They're really doing something, here!

@@m1m207 Handong was in China during Boca and Scream so I didn't count those since she they wouldn't give a hiatus member many lines to begin with. But in Odd Eye and Deja Vu, she had over 20 seconds. She gets treated well for a foreign member with Sub-Vocalist position compared to other agencies.

Siyeon is "in charge" of sustaining high notes, so that also immediately bumps up her total time. She also does a lot of "angel" adlibs, so even though they are insignificant to the lyrics on paper, they add to her time as well. But Siyeon being able to shine in her position is incredibly important, as that's the only official position she holds.

its not a leak, they just performed this song at m countdown today prior to the song's release for some reason

@@dreamvelvet They said "Feels like...", meaning that they know it's not, but because the sequence of performing this was before the mv's official release, it 'feels like a leak'. And the reason for performing this song yesterday is because of the Olympics, as idol promotion shows like MCD won't be continuing after 2PM today in Korea. Because their mv is dropping at 6PM KST, this would mean that they would be barred from participating on these shows because of these shows scheduling. Any and all exposure is very important, so DCC came up with the brilliant idea to have this as their first comeback stage a day early. Also, it was to bring more excitement and internet traffic to their mv promotions as a whole, because many Korean people watch MCD every Thursday without caring much for who participates. And it's obviously worked very well in their favour! Look at all of the Korean comments! I hope that explains it. It's a bit of a weird sequence, I know, but it's not unheard of and I actually think it makes a lot of sense for smaller groups to promote their comeback in this sequence, as they can't rely as much on the random chances of non-fans discovering their music :)
