I'm glad that you like the Odd Eye (Dystopia ver.). It's one of my favourite dance performances from them. As the name suggested, it has outfits from the whole Dystopia era. Stripe suit (Scream), Red outfit (BOCA) & suit+hat (Odd Eye photobook). The hat is also a call-back to Black or White outfit. The best part of the Odd Eye Dystopia version is that Handong get to wear the outfit she missed during Scream & BOCA. At end of the video where she remove her black mask is a call-back to Scream era where there is a dancer with black mask, signifying her place in the group, as if she never leave all along. P.s. New Days is my favourite B-side from the album.

1) "Wind Blows" is in my top 5 DC songs. One remarkable thing is the chorus is explosive and doesn't seem to fit the song at all and I usually HATE that but i LOVED it there. 2) I'm a bit premature in commenting on this part of the video but in case you don't mention cause you know already, Dami did writing and composing on "New Days" & it's also one of my favorite b-sides! She's always so proud of Siyeon's vocals on it when they perform. 😊

The original name of the concert was Dreamcatcher Concert: [Apocalypse: Broken Halloween] but they changed the name. Due to the tragedy that happened in Itaewon, Dreamcatcher's concert was renamed from Apocalypse: Broken Halloween to Apocalypse: 2022 World Tour in Seoul They got a lot of flack for doing day two of the concert after the tragedy the day before

You reacted to Odd eye (Dystopia.ver). The last time he took off his mask seems to be Handong's return. Because he wasn't in Scream and Boca. This album is also a masterpiece. Dreamcatcher doesn't have B-sides. It's just songs that are equivalent to the title. Wind blows are dance practice videos. I should have recommended watching from the beginning, but in Play Color, you can't see the dance well because of the flashing lights and camera composition. For Poison Love, I recommend watching their self-produced M/V. New Days is Dami's self-composed song.

The Redhead Dami was hugging is Huang Sooyeon, their Performance Director and Chief Choreographer. The other two choreographers are also there. I think Jiu kissed the hand of one them.

"Wind Blows" is so marvellous, i am not really love this song at first time, but when i saw their dance practice, live performance... it can really feeling they are so live this song, they are always so happy, full of emotion, dancing full of power etc... after those clip, makes me love this song so much.❤❤ And sure love "4 Memory", as a second producing song, Jiu are making a really good work. And handling a completely different genre compare with "Dear". Such a good creator😇😇

Wind blows is one of my favorite songs of them, i got hooked from watching it in Relay Dance channel. I heard from some of their interview that the dance at 17:43 Sua and Handong will always look at each other’s eyes then smile and also at 18:30 after that high note Gahyeon would look at Siyeon and smile proudly at her. (can be seen in the full view of the performance, not the focus one) They are so cute. I also love Wind Blows Dance Practice clip on Dreamcatcher channel, so energetic and funny when Sua start doing Sua thing. 😂

It's super difficult to rank Dreamcatcher albums, but I think my current top 3 EPs would be (1.) Dystopia: Road to Utopia, (2.) Apocalypse: From Us, and (3.) Alone in the City. D:RtU and A: FU are two of their most sonically cohesive albums so far (Summer Holiday is as well). D:RtU I think remains as my favorite since it is their most Electronic/EDM heavy EP and that was the music scene I was into before diving into Kpop. Plus any EP without a more traditional sounding ballad (as much I love DC ballads) usually earns bonus points for me, not to mention the physical album might have my most favorite design as well. I could probably easily type a 10-page paper on all the reasons I love this EP so much, so I'll just leave it at that xD

dreamcatcher \:D/ was on the fence with wind blows at first but it became one of my top dc songs :D 4memory is the 'ballad' of the album and written/composed by jiu which makes it of course like all their ballads, for/about insomnias. the hand gesture is to signify they remember and the pointing down also has a double meaning in that they remember where they came from, the ground up.

The Odd Eye choreography vid was emotional for 1 thing because Handong was finally in a Boca outfit. It was almost like a homecoming for some Insomnias. This album is fantabulous. Their performances is always fun. I said before, the band that plays on their songs and live performances are brilliant. Shout out to them. Dreamcatcher is the DREAM. 🤘🥰🤘

In 4memory live, the hand gesture is 'ㄱ', not 'T'. The word memory in the title is '기억' in Korean, and the Korean pronunciation of '기억' (gi eok) is the same as the 'ㄱ' pronunciation (gi eok). 'ㄱ' is the first consonant in '기억'. This is a hand gesture expression of what was explained previously.

There are two Halloween concerts. The first in 2021 was the Halloween Midnight Circus and the second in 2022 was the Apocalypse: Broken Halloween aka World Tour in Seoul. The day before the concert the Itaewon crowd crush happened in which 159 people were killed. Most concerts were cancelled, but Dreamcatcher's concert was too close and the financial hit to the company would have been devastating. Dreamcatcher got some blowback on social media, but most people understood. However, they dropped the Broken Halloween name and only used the World Tour name afterwards.

Yes, it's all from Notes, Vlogs, and Vlives. There are literally hundreds of them including ones from Minx era. There are still some I haven't seen even though I've been following them since debut. A lot of them weren't available in the early years and most weren't translated. It's much better now.

I'm 100% agree with you on Wind Blows, that song was just "a good song" the first time i heard it but now, 10 month later, it's my actual FAVORITE !! I don't know why but i think the Play Color performance helped me a lot to listen this song 10 times a day at the beginning 😂

While everyone's suggesting things, I suggest the "Wind Blows" dance practice. The red lights look cool but they suck cause they kind of make it hard to see the choreo. I wish directors would stop doing that. SuA was so smart about the lighting in the "Demian" special clip. They should learn from her lol Also one more note about "Wind Blows", it grows on you when you know what's coming. Cause it is a wild production and you can't process it on the first listen lol. Then it gets fun!

It's a crime that we didn't get to see Dongie in that Boca outfit more. She looks fantastic. Siyeon's high note is so much more pronounced in the live version and it's amazing. I wish it was a little easier to hear in the studio version, it blends in too much with the instrumental. Wind Blows is easily one of my favorite b-sides. Insane dynamics, beautiful vocals, Handon's pre-chorus, the insane choreography, the Jiu bridge, the breakdown, all of it. Just a fantastic song all around. You've got to check the Poison Love self-made mv. Such a good song. 4-Memory is another favorite of mine. I also immediately though of Madeon/Porter Robinson, specifically Shelter, the first time I heard it. New Days is another one of my favorite DC songs and that version of New Days is one of the best, I think. It's VERY live, they sound fantastic, you can tell they're having a great time, and you can see that they have a great relationship with their dancers, as you said. The bond the girls have with each other and with InSomnia really feels special. It doesn't feel forced or manufactured. Even though they found each other through work, they're really a family now. I have a few friends who I've met through similar circumstances and they're more like family to me than my own blood, so I understand how special and rare that is.

Siyeon always cry whenever they sing New Days. I remember how she cried so hard during the Philippines tour here in Manila that she had to take a break at the backstage to recover,. It was great and touching that I saw it personally and was able to record and capture that moment.

Another great album from them, much more electro than the others but a little bit of change is always good ahah ! I think that's one of my favourite to be honest especially because it means the comeback of DC OT7 💥 Always a pleasure to (re)watch all these videos with you and there's still a ton left lol !

90% of Dreamcatcher content comes from the official channel itself. But Insomnicsy with all the skills that they have, put together the whole content not just from the official channel but also from live stream videos and fancams. So we can say, Insomnicsy is the goat on this. Not forgetting other fan channels, they also have their own merits in making Dreamcatcher content. It's just Insomnicsy is the biggest one. Hats off for all of them nonetheless.

I know it's probably one of the least-liked songs based on what I've heard, but "Wind Blows" consistently remains in my top 5 of DC's discography. It's such a roller coaster and easily one of the most "anime" songs they've done. And yeah, the choreo really brings it all together. If you check out any of their live performances or especially in their dance practice for it, you can really hear the stomping feet and clapping. Several members have regularly said "Wind Blows" was one of their most intense and tiring choreos (taken over by "Bon Voyage" and "Demian" now). Also Dongie, Dami, and Gahyeon getting center choreography during the chorus is always fantastic. The members really do seem to have such a great relationship with everyone - as someone mentioned, there's Insomnicsy videos about their interactions with staff like their managers, backup dancers, and even some funny scenes with their CEO. Also yes, the red-orange haired backup dancer in the New Days live is Hwang Sooyeon, who has been their project manager and choreographer since Deja Vu (and I believe still is as I'm pretty sure she worked on choreo for both Bon Voyage and Propose). I *think* the dark-blonde dancer there is Kim Keeyeoun, another backup dancer and choreographer that works alongside Sooyeon (there's a third too, Kang Riye - she might be the black-haired dancer by Jiu, but I can't tell). Sooyeon has been very humble about her involvement, saying Keeyeoun and Riye have done a lot and the members themselves carry the choreo.

This was the first mini album/album I struggled with. It took a while to get used to some of the songs. There is a channel on KZfaq that features K-Pop artists with the house live band. DC have been on a number of times and Oddeye and Wind Blows was featured.

Yeah...their more experimental songs like Wind Blows tend to be a grower for me too. The same way I feel about Demian and The Curse of the Spider. I'm convinced some parts of the Wind Blows choreo were adapted from Naruto's sharingan technique (the members collecting and transferring "energy" to another member part), which is also wind based jutsu lol Someone on reddit interpreted the distorted vocal on 4 Memory's chorus as hidden message for Insomnia.
