any and all replica weapons featured are non-functioning airsoft versions operated in a clear and safe area.
any and all replica tobacco products featured are prop, herbal ones.
this production is in no way, shape or form affiliated with any organization or governmental body and is not meant to deceive. any replica clothing worn by actors on the set are in-character costumes inline with the characters they play in the post-apocalyptical setting of the film.
the main song used throughout the video is 'A Wanderer', by Peter Crosby.
other songs used are 'Heart of Creation' and 'Gone With the Wind' by Peter Crosby.
all three of which are licensed through Epidemic Sound.
the majority of the rest of the music is from the Stalker and Into The Radius OSTs.
about the title:
A number of people have commented that any number of these games are not 'post-apocalyptical', because the entire globe isn't destroyed. Based on multiple dictionaries: the word "apocalypse" can refer to any large scale disaster (earthquake/hurricane/war etc) that leads to a great change for life in the affected area. This is also how the word is used most often in journalism and day-to-day conversation. But even without this definition: the Chornobyl accident, for the people who it affected the most was the end of their world - all they had known, all they had loved. The same goes for all these games. In none of them is the entire globe destroyed, there are pockets of life everywhere - but for many people, everything they knew was gone.
thank you for watching

This is why I like Eastern European horror. It doesn’t give the feeling of impeding doom or a sense of importance to the story’s protagonist. It promises the experience of a never ending bleakness that humans have carved a way into.

I've called it "postsoviet radiation/cosmic horror" it is distinct yet related to lovecraftian horror. You don't see the danger most of the time, but you can always sense it. But still I couldn't stop going deeper, my curiosity was always stronger than any fear or anxiety. That's what made stalker so special. Because everybody has a wish deep, deep inside... And that's why we go against all odds.

"It's a vibe" is the best way to put it. My favourite thing to do to relax is hop on Tarkov and go on tranquil walks in Woods with a friend. Not a lot of action, but that's the point. It's like a discord voice call but occasionally broken by intense bursts of violence. When we do punch someone's ticket and secure the area, the conversation turns into something you'd probably actually hear people say as they casually pick over the belongings of their victims. "What the shit, my guy has enough cigs in his pack to put mechanic in the ground." "Check out homeboy's AK, there's like 5 flashlights on it" "All that razzle-dazzle didn't help him see me. Hey, your dude got any food on him?" For a game known for being brutal and unforgiving, it really is funny how comfortable you can make it.

Describing DayZ players as wild, untamed, and unpleasant due to the nature of the game is so spot on. I remember the last time I played, my friend found a group that was eating corpses of other players and since they needed bodies to overwhelm people we joined. We trekked across the landscape in search of our next meal, beating everyone to death, before devouring them. We ate our own fallen, and filled our pockets with flesh. We became a horde of intelligent zombies capable of strategizing. One of the best experiences I had, never found another group like it.

My attraction to Stalker Gamma in particular is the feeling of not being the main character. I despise being the one to save the world time and time again, but the feeling of being just another Stalker in the zone is kind of soothing despite the dangers that lurk around every corner.

Every time the PDA updates a kill or a stalker finding an artifact, I am reminded that the world of STALKER is so much bigger than any stalker. Your accomplishment is one of many, and any could be yours. Every life as every faction is just as canon as the other.
@minhducnguyen9276
@minhducnguyen9276 2 ай бұрын
It's even better when you remember that most stalkers are there because they wanted to be there. In order to get into the Zone you either get a license like the scientists at ecologist camp or the military or you smuggle yourself in. My stalker being an ecologist is probably some student freshed out of the university hearing the promise of scientific advancements and fame and signed up for this. Now he's wandering the Zone facing horrors far beyond what he imagined before getting into there. But it doesn't mean there's no artifact or discovery to be made. The Zone giveth and the Zone taketh, it goes both ways.

Really nice video! I can confirm that smoking in Into the Radius recovers stamina if you're hungry (turns the yellow hunger bar back into the blue stamina bar), but each individual cig only does a little which is why you might not've noticed it. It's like each cig equals a little bite of food. However, if you smoke semi-regularly, you'll often find you don't need to eat at all while on an expedition into the Radius. To cover my hunger requirement I only bring a pack of cigs with me on my runs, and at most I'll eat in the mornings after a sleep (if I sleep). I agree it's mostly just "nice" to smoke in Into the Radius though, and the impact isn't super huge-- it just feels right, in the game. You used to be able to chain smoke and endlessly sprint at the same time, that was a funny result of the cigs helping recover stamina, but that was fixed a while back.

There has never been a video that speaks to me so damn well. I've said this to my friends and family before; that sometimes I think that if the world went into the post-apocalypse era, I'd be more happier. Not because I want the world to end, or not that I'd definitely miss having internet and my computer, but instead that it's simplicity at its finest. Social media, profit margins, scraping up a job resume, detailing cover letters for the best candidacy, and spending the few hours I have playing games would all be gone. Life is simpler than anyone ever makes it to be, but we feel compelled to care about things that don't really matter because everyone else around us do. Sure, these worlds are harsh and definitely not for the faint of heart to survive in, but they give you peace of mind in a sense. The ability to just sit somewhere and strum a guitar in the radius, or sit in a house during an emission. And with the world going to hell more and more every single day, I am slightly upset that I will be the one to live IN the hell-razing apocalypse, instead of the peaceful hostility in its post-era. If an apocalypse ever did happen, I hope the world turns out more like Stalker than Fallout. In one, humans still have a soul, and the other is filled with the same things that destroyed us in the first place.

The last few years have really upped the appeal of the post-apocalypse for me. Widespread systematic failure on every level of governance makes me dream of seeing it all burn down, leaving only the parts of humanity worth remembering. Death is constant in these brutal settings, but despite that or maybe even because of that, the characters that remain live brighter than I every will. People often project primal brutality into these settings, but there's a lot more primal humanity in playing music around a campfire than there is in killing one another.

@@echodelta2172 Yeah I noticed that when I was in the middle of nowhere and wanted to smoke a cigar. I didn't have a lighter with me just a fire striker. It took quite some time to get the fire started after gathering the material for a small campfire because it had rained a few hours earlier. But the feeling after I had succeeded and then lit my cigar was just great. My hands may have been completely covered in dirt and I accidentally charred the tip of the cigar but I felt like I had accomplished something. Only such moments provide me with a true feeling of success. Everything else feels like a cope. It was during this moment that I realized that the Unabomber was right. I get to dictate my own path in a post-apocalypse, whereas the current world is on rails if that makes any sense. I cant put this into words exactly, but it has something to do with money. Something makes money feel like a ball and chain.

Greetings from Eastern Europe (Belarus). Thanks to the recommendations of KZfaq for this video tutorial. I just love the Stalker and Metro2033 series of games. I met them thanks to my father (thank him very much 😃) I played stalker for the first time when I was 10 years old and I still play it (thanks to modders for not forgetting about the game and making cool mods, especially Anomaly) Stalker has had a huge cultural phenomenon especially for us residents of post-Soviet countries. The game was able to convey the mood of the population of 2000 thousandths on the territory of post-Soviet countries. The devastation after the collapse of the USSR (because every country played a role), the desperation of the people with thoughts of what to do next? where should we move. High level of banditry and so on. My friends and I were so imbued with the spirit of Serri stalker that we often walked through abandoned buildings with thoughts (wow, look, we're just like in the game) collecting artifacts (various garbage).There was a Missile unit near my city (now it is artificially abandoned). We often went there with friends on bicycles in order to feel the very atmosphere of the stalker , the very calm around the campfire (yes, we took matches with us from home and lit a fire) In conclusion, I apologize for the spelling because I am not an English speaker

I played into the radius… My favorite memory of it, was I got a mission to clear a town, I grabbed my sniper rifle and lied on a rock ledge overlooking it waiting patiently for a clear shot. It was the dead of night and in the meantime, I smoked a cigarette while looking at the orange black orb glowing in the night sky. Wow it was such an otherworldly experience

This video is my first impression of your content. My God man, you are: That Impressive Movie Making Mother fucker. Very well made. It's crazy that DayZ, escape from tarkov, and stalker are still as popular today as they were several years ago.

if only i could immerse myself into tarkov without being distracted by the brainrot of pvp and competitive pseudostreamers. i hope they implement pmc karma, radios, ko states, and other systems later

Agreed, at this point one of the main things holding back tarkov is the community, that extremely competitive and agresive community that just wants this to become a new cod is the really annoying, playing stalker one of the most fun things is just walking from one place to another, with your gun in your hands but lowered, and walking instead of running, the tension of knowing you are safe but an ambush can spring at any moment, i wish tarkov was more like that. and not just running around from place to place playing like a slightly more realistic cod
