The best type of music takes you on a journey. I’m thinking of 80s sci-if flicks that take the young traveler on a ‘highway’ to the stars (e.g., _The Last Starfighter_ ). Or where heroes travel the stars. (e.g., _Empire Strikes Back,_ or the Christopher Reeves Superman films). Of course, there are the 80s TV shows like _Star Trek: The Next Generation’s_ first season. Or movies like _Cloak & Dagger,_ or _D.A.R.Y.L_ that were also ‘highways’ escapism.

Hi Jonathon- I’m really enjoying this synth wave music. Thanks for doing the videos. I never would have stumbled onto it. Check out the song If It Takes all Nite by Stan Meissner. It’s an older song but it’s in the same space as At 1980. It’s very good. Hope you search and check it out. 👍

A modern day synth composer .. accept no imitations .. I see tons of synth wave bands that seem to copy his style in my FB feed .. they don’t come close.
