DONT GO THERE. AND NOT WHEN IS DOLPHIN SEASON: es un pais rico de primer mundo que se separo de la unon europea pero sigue bajo bandera dinamarquesa para poder explotar indiscriminadamente el oceano sin atenerse a las leyes de la union europea sobre depredacion. tremenda jugada. ademas hay 2 ovejas por cada habitante y es su otra mayor fuente de ingresos junto al turismo. gastaron 140 millones de euros en tuneles submarinos para rutas entre puebluchos de pocs habitantes porque les sobra el dinero. THEY DOLPHIN KILLERS SHOOT A DRONE WITH A SHOTGUN WHEN SOMEONE TRYIED TO DOCUMENT THE MASS KILINGS OF CETACEANS IN FEROE.!!! MASS KILINGS OF DOLPHINS IN SUFFERING EVERY YEAR....THEY DON´T EVEN EAT THEM AND THROW IT AWAY BECAUSE THEIR POPULATION IS VERY LOW !!! THEY HAVE SHEEP ALL OVER THE ISLAND. THEY SPENT 140 MILLON EUROS IN CAR TUNELS AND ROADS BUT THEY STILL SLAUGHTER DOLPHINS FOR MEAT HAVING SHEEP AND MONEY ? THEY SAY IS TRADITION AND TEACH THEIR KIDS TO PUT AN AXE TO THE HEAD OF DOLPHINS ON THE BEACH. THEY KILLED 1500 LAST YEAR- BEASTS. WE ARE NOT ALONE, PLEASE GO TO EVERY FAROE ISLAN TOURIST VIDEO AND COPY PASTE THIS: An international Declaration of Rights for Cetaceans was formulated in 2010 declaring dolphins and whales as “persons” to be afforded “non-human rights”, including freedom of movement and residence and not to be killed, captured, bred, or enslaved. A subsequent global movement for cetacean rights was launched in 2012.Aug 3, 2017 PLEASE HELP SPREAD THE WORD ABOUT MASS MURDER IN FAROE ISLANDS AND GENOCIDE TO INOCENT CREATURES, WATCH THE VIDEO TO BE INFORMED. FAROE ISLAN HABITANTS ARE PART OF THIS IF THEY DON´T DO NOTHING ARE PART OF THE PROBLEM VIDEO HERE. THEY ALSO SHOOT A DRONE TRYING TO DOCUMENT THE SLAUGHTERING IN OTHER VIDEO kzfaq.info/get/bejne/qc6af7Ol29vKdJc.html

*_This is the most impessive stunt I've ever seen on the internet - hands down!!! . . . . . ._* And the location chosen can't _possibly_ be rivaled - these magnificent islands are just one of a kind, as are the inhabitants! Personally I've been climbing quite high, but watching some segments of this epic film actually brought on the sensation of _pure vertigo_ . . . . . . Thanks to these Dutchmen equipped with *_major_* cojones for sharing the experience!!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Love your video!! I stopped at 14:19 to say my Dad came from Denmark and he loved to make unusual food like you are showing. He would joke the pheasant was ready when it tried to climb off the hook. Your aged delectable lamb looks wonderful! 💖🕊

The music, the scenery, the drone work, not to mention the skill and bravery of the highline adventurers -- it all came together, and you and your team captured it and shared it with us. Thanks -- and bravo! Looking forward to seeing your next film.

This was such a joy to watch. Absolutely stunning work. People at work are still talking about "some crazy guys highlining at Trælanípan" - the last location - which, in case you didn't know, is where the Vikings would take their slaves who were too old or weak to work and have them throw themselves off of it so they could go to Valhalla. Much like the Ettestrup in Norsemen :)

Thanks John! The loops are basically the second line backup line in case the first one snaps. They tape them together every few meters to make sure the safety ring that connects the highliner to the lines can pass through easily.

Hi Chris, phantastic and impressive video indeed. I enjoyed it very much. Your award is clearly deserved. Some of your blackout transitions I perceive as dispensable and anoying, but anyway excellent work. Guido

Thanks Guido. And thanks for the feedback. After having seen the film many times I would probably agree with you on the blackout transitions. Oh well... next time ;-)

Two things I do not understand: 1) How do they get the other end of the line attached to the opposite cliff?/ 2) WHY do they do it? R-von

1. Walk around. Every line was reachable on foot. In some situation people also use a drone to fly across a fishing line. 2. Because they can.

I am still having a hard time visualizing someone dragging a line all around that gorge to attach it to the other side - then walking back again. Perhaps a minute or two on the next video to demonstrate that process would be useful.

Usually they walk across a thinner line first. Much easier to handle. Rigging a line takes at least 3-4 people really. So once the thinner line is across the bigger one is attached to this and pulled across. Then a few more anchor points + backup and then the line is tensioned.

T Y for the response but it still looks like a dangerous way to seek adventure. Ever consider skate-boarding?
