You have to check out the trailers and PVs too. Everyone usually focuses on the beat drops but there's so much musical variety and nuance in composition in those tracks too (like you can FEEL danger and chaos from Mobius' trailer, playfulness in Pardofelis', sensual allure in Fallen Rosemary etc), and once you're invested in the story you find even more details that hit extra hard (freaking Flamescion PV, ARGH!). Highly recommend.

The tango vibe for "Fishcl's step-mom" battlesuit, the fallen rosemary", really matching with the battlesuit. Since she is wearing something that resembling tango visite and also, her attack animation using tango movement. Btw, what more amazing about that "Yatta" theme music is, when the whip sound effect heard, it really does timed with her appearing with a whip-sword like weapon.

was really great :D as someone who doesn't play honkai i also loved the part where they went really hard and chat was like "oh, main menu theme!" and then they went really hard again "oh, main menu theme 2!" you guys have some really great themes for just the main menu lmao

fun fact for the Starfire Sonorant concert, they initially removed the stream from playback after the live because the team clearly didn't have enough preparation time back then, it really felt kinda unpollished. you could hear the backstage team talks leaking through between sessions, some camera angles were changed slightly, the audio was also audibly not as great as the recorded one. Also iirc, the music order was also different. But what's clearly missing between the actual Starfire Sonorant Live and recording was an after credit part where they teased Honkai Star Rail.

Also Fun Fact regarding Moon Halo : The Song has a 2nd meaning which is also used under Their Project "Xinhuo Charity Program" where they donate large sum amount of money for the school to build and support the education of the children within that rural area. As far as I'm aware, this entire project was kept within CN Side only and was never mentioned anywhere on other Honkai Impact branch. Currently there are 2 Documentation Video, 1st one released around the same week as Moon Halo Animation and 2nd one released just in August 2022.

That performance of Starfall from Starfire Sonorant is in my opinion the best performance of that show. Rubia and Moon Halo are also amazing from that show, but Starfall was just so powerful.

A lot of "Modern" instruments are just evolutions of classic european instruments. The more sounds you have available the more expressive you can be. Doesn't mean to use more in a single piece. Just that having a different sound available might give you a really cool idea for a piece.

I highly recommend you to take a look at the various version trailers to Honkai Impact. They compose some really good music just for them and the videos generally match the songs. Unfortunately I don't think making a video on it would match with how your normal videos are formatted. However I really do think that they are worth listening/watching just to have an understanding on how Hoyoverse push expectations with their music.
