Excellent Tiki Jord, took some of your advice upgraded dremel and got a Foredom, and some kutzall burrs,, holy hell what a difference. Really helps, just need to save up for the bigger hand piece to accept 1/4 inch. Carve on bro

Hello Jordy; Greetings from Wisconsin, USA. Great Tiki! I love it. I liked the eyes without the abalone, but it still looks great with it. small limbs and dowels are a good way to practice. Keep on truckin.

When I was a kid in the mid 60's, my dad used to dive for abalone. Makes great steaks after you beat the hell out of it with a meat hammer.

The wood may be clear old growth fir, which may be getting hard to find. Love the tiki.
