If you’re in the grocery store and they don’t have grass-fed organic, only grass-fed or organic, which should you choose? In this video, I’ll let you know.
For more details on this topic, check out the full article on the website: ➡️ drbrg.co/3XChKTc
US Wellness Meat: grasslandbeef.com/
Grass-fed vs. Organic:
Organic
• If something says its 100% organic, then it’s organic
• If something just says organic, then it’s 95.99% organic
• Organic means without pesticides, antibiotics, hormones, or biosolids (sewage sludge)
Grass-fed
• There is no legal definition of grass-fed (it needs to be grass-finished)
• Grain-fed beef is heavy in omega 6 fatty acids, grass-fed is not (omega 6 fatty acids are more inflammatory, omega 3 fatty acids are more anti-inflammatory)
• Grass-fed beef has CLA, and more vitamin A and vitamin E
Ideally, you want to consume grass-fed grass-finished 100% certified organic. I personally use a company called US Wellness Meats.

Grass finished? I've never even heard the term before. I sorta did the Keto diet (it worked) and that's how I learned about grass fed. I did not eat as much meat I did the opposite. I ate a TON of vegetables, stayed away from carbs and sugar. I lost 40lbs a year ago and has kept it off because I still eat that way. I've added carbs back a few times a week and mostly still stay away from sugar. I'm going to seek out this grass finished for sure. I learned something new. Thank you Dr. Berg😊👍

I go to Europe every so often. In the US I have stomach issues. They always get better when I go to Europe. They always get worse when I return. I eat the same stuff. I can actually eat dairy in Europe without too many issues. Just got back two days ago and am already awake late at night, unable to sleep from heartburn and bloating. No it’s not my job or some other stress factor. My job isn’t stressful. My life isn’t stressful. It’s 100% the food. This is really sad. No regulatory body is looking out for us at all and greed casts aside any cares about the health of the people.

Thanks for putting us in the road to success. Serious question…Can we get a video on how to eat this way on a budget? Will the fact that I’m doing I.F. mean that I can afford this? Should I put less into supplements if I have higher quality meats?

I think this is differente in the US than here in Sweden. Grass-fed animals are grassfed here and we often buy the meat directly from the farmer, so we can have a direct comunication with the farmer. And organic is less 'safe' here, we have a label kalled KRAV (demand) wich is much stricter than organic. It's much harder rules for KRAV than for organic. In the stores we can buy Brasilian 'grassfed' meat, but that's what you are describing here.

In Canada we have regulations that say grass fed means at least 75% of its diet has to be from grazing.

For you vegans, they also feed biosolids aka sewage sludge to wheat. On my last job, my short cut to the job had me going thru the wheat lands that had signs warning people about the use of sludge on the fields. And add that to the fact, it is legal and often practiced that Round-Up is sprayed at the end of the wheat growing to season to even out of the drying of the wheat heads for harvest. Can you say high glyphosate residues? I just said it. And with sludge, can you say any fool chemical that is in your sewage? Pharm drugs, pesticides, heavy metals, halogenated whatever chemicals, etc forever.

Organic actually does contain pesticides. They just use omri listed products instead of synthetic pesticides. Omri listed pesticides include things like diatomaceous earth, and neem oil, etc... neem oil concerns me because it can be an endocrine disrupter. However, it’s probably the lesser of the two poisons. If they use neem early in the plants 🌱 life cycle then harvest at the right time it won’t be in the plants system anymore.

If more people were aware of these things, there would be such a demand for change, that couldn't be ignored. The manipulation of words, LYING, is pretty disgusting. The government allowing the non disclosure of common practices, is bad as well.

I have a friend from high school that used to be head of one of the national beef producers associations. I was chatting with her recently at our HS reunion and she was adamant that there is zero difference between organic, grass fed and grain fed beef. A few of us were debating this. She said there were some studies done proving it. Have you come across any studies that suggest this, and if so, were they from a credible source. I’m inclined to believe that there is a big difference.

@@usmangani71 Exactly! Unfortunately the people who are in the middle of all the certification nonsense are the most indoctrinated because all of the studies are being drummed into their heads. This is why the good industry is a mess to begin with and it's not their fault, the machine is an ugly beast.

The problem with pasture raised is that it just means the animal grew on the pasture, they most of the time still feed them grains.
