Jackie Kennedy is a style icon who transcends time and trends. In this video I react to the costumes in the film Jackie and analyze whether they are historically accurate or not. The costume designer for this film is Madeline Fontaine who also created the costumes for the film Ameile. Madeline stated that she tried to match the costumes as closely as possible to what Jackie actually wore, and let me tell you, her historical reconstructions are wild.
If you appreciate 20th century dress history as much as I do, subscribe! 🥂
