@@theflippedpiece because apothecary drawers have a bunch of smaller drawers, so that's why they have so many handles. Making faux ones doesn't go with it too well tbh. It's pretty, and I do enjoy a lot of your videos. But this just needed a bit of editing, it's very busy.

This was water damaged, had broken legs that needed repaired, handles were cracked and needed removed and tons of chips and scratched down to the particleboard. I only upcycle and flip damaged pieces, I would never touch a perfectly good mcm piece.

I want to love it, but I just don't. The apothecary theme for the drawers doesn't work. They compete with the patterned top drawers and the whole piece becomes too visually busy. The grinder idea to cut them after glueing is great! Other vids mostly show cutting them eexaaactly.. before. That's why I never did it!! 😅

i think it wouldve been better if the bamboo was also applied to the third drawer or maybe the last two drawers as well. the divider between the third drawer and fourth drawer kinda makes this piece look off

This furniture shows the good workmanship. It is simple but damaged. However it is worth restoring rather than covering all the damages.

Not sure I like the mixed style I would have either used bamboo on all the drawers or the wallpaper on all of them - I like symmetry

I think I liked the vibe of the before better. Would have been really cool to improve it while keeping the mid century vibe.

I love those drawer handles. They are so apothecary style. It's wonderful! Especially when combined with the bamboo sticks and the textured paper. Color combinations are just the right touch. How creative!
