This video is everything I needed. I was raised in church, my dads an ordained minister & a cop and my mom is a woman of faith. So, I never dressed inappropriately, however I’d like to change my entire wardrobe from jeans, ripped jeans, and start wearing dresses. I’d also like to start a modesty journey, the more God changes me on the inside the more I feel a pull to change on the outside. I’m single and I do believe God is preparing me for my husband so, I want to be ready! Now that I’m 25 I can recognize that God is doing something in my life. I’m so ready to find dresses!

I was not drinking but smoking cigarettes. JESUS completely stripped me of all my makeup, pants, Jewelry, fornication. EVERYTHING. My ego. I was a completely different person. A woman dressed in modest apparel really is way more attractive than revealing clothing. Dressing in modest apparel is so refreshing. Many people say that the Bible says “come as you are” but there’s no scripture that says that. You look fabulous sis, I shop at the goodwill & thrift stores also. We can find some very nice garments there.

Im 19 years old.. Im a christians going on 2 years. I really loved jeans, but my flesh is weak and my spirit is willing to look like a modest young lady. Its a struggle for me because i never liked dresses and its pride and other people's opinions for me. But this video really touch me, it was emotional and it is directly for me. Stay consistent and always ask God for the strength to be so. Well, what I've observed among my friends and other girls who put on pants is that they are loose and generally don't care of anything that is good or right. It's a sick society, all we can do is to pray and ask God to help us encourage our sisters into modest dress reform. The sickness has encroached everywhere and especially our churches. Finding a woman with reformed dress is almost impossible.

Hey My Beautiful Sister.. I believe it could be because of the everyday access of scenery we have at our disposal. The phone and TV are two of our mainstream tools that have all sorts of lustful images daily. But we must purpose to make a decision in allowing what we choose to look at.. lust doesn’t begin in the heart, it begins with the eyes, but it’s manifested in the heart. Lust is a spirit that we as believers have power over through the works that took place on the Cross by our SAVIOR JESUS CHRIST. The Bible tells us to cast down every imagination that exalts itself against the knowledge of GOD. Pray and rebuke the thoughts and immediately turn the channel and block everything that’s eye catching to you. Remember the Enemy of our Soul is able to transform himself as a disguise into an Angel of the light, but it’s all counterfeit, just like we are tricked into believing all things beautiful must be a gift from GOD, but in your statement you admitted that looking at something you consider beautiful comes along lust for you.. but you see how our own hearts can deceive us.. My Sister, from one Sister To Another.. You have the power to take control of the lust in your life by controlling what you allow in with your eyes. GOD loves you and doesn’t desire that any of us perish. Pray & go on a fast and ask GOD to destroy the spirit of lust in your life. I will be lifting you up in prayer Sis. It’s WarTime ⚔️⚔️

Hello, Thank you for your video. I too, listen to Pastor Darby’s messages. Do you remember which one this is? I’ve been looking for this one. I do have a question about dyeing our hair. Is it a sin against God? I have Locs and I was told, I should cut them off because they carry spirits. I didn’t agree with that. However, Pastor Darby was a True Man of God.

I’m not sure about dying the hair, but I heard a testimony from Sister Erica, from “Life Is Spiritual” channel, say that her Locs carried spirits and she cut them out because of that.. she was deep into witchcraft by way of her bloodline. I will go to her channel and listen to her testimony. Pastor Darby thru Christ answered a lot my questions. I found him on KZfaq in 2013, and I was hooked. I also enjoyed your video today. Lovely video! Could you put links to where we can shop those same dresses? I'd like to see what their measurements and prices are. Maybe you thrifted them, though. I do that, myself. Also, how tall are you? That would give me an idea of how the dresses I see on you would fit me. Being 4' 11" it's tough to find dresses that are long without having to hem them up, anyway. Love the yellow polka dot tiered dress, I also have a tiered floral maxi, its my fave dress! Do you think a dress that is form fitting like a mermaid shape midi length is modest? Retro style 60's era, kinda like pin up model dress Unlike my other dresses that are more flowy & A-line. Yes it hugs my body & shows my figure, is that appropriate? Cuz the fabric is not stretchable there's not much give in the hip/upper thigh i feel like my movement is restricted when I sit down when I stand up, cuz the fabric is clingy it bunches up a little in my waist area & I have to pull it down, I think it has to do with the inner lining seems slippery so the fabric tends to bunch up. When I wear my other dresses I don't have any doubts cuz its A line, but this mermaid shaped one seems to make me feel uncomfortable is it too tight? Does that mean I shouldn't wear it?

I would say “No” to the dress you’re describing, simply because it will draw attention to your figure and your curves. And because you are a mature sister in the LORD I would advise you to continue wearing your Beautiful Modest Dresses/Apparel. And when I use the term “Mature” what I mean is you’re not drinking on the milk anymore, you’re consuming meat in GOD. Much love My Beautiful Sis and I hope this truly helped. The Modest way is a way of quality. A true GOD fearing Man is looking for a Wife of substance. Both inwardly and outwardly. Whatever we as women reveal outwardly on our bodies, inwardly says that is the part of the body we’re willing to use. Dressing in modesty speaks volumes. But let us be more hungry in desiring our inward man be cleansed into the Holiness of GOD. When we step into eternity I believe GOD will judge our hearts. I hope this helped sister. Question, for modest apparel would short sleeves be acceptable? I‘m asking about long or midi dresses with short sleeves or short sleeve shirts and long skirts. Also are pants accepted as modest apparel or only skirts and dresses?

Janice Huff Hey Sis!! I would say all of the above would be considered dressing in modesty, for the exception of skirts. Skirts are a little tricky because of the length. Midi dresses and midi skirts are very modest.

I have so many thoughts on this topic, I consider myself a conservative dresser, many years ago I taught modest dressing in church, then I feel like I sort of got sucked into offering more “worldly” clothes as it appeared that’s what is selling these days. I have a modest apparel section and I found your video by searching “Modest Apparel”. I’m interested in what modesty looks like in the fashion world, I want to eventually shift my shop and dedicate 90% of my inventory to more modest apparel. This is very helpful! God Bless!
