This. I've had cars with over 200k miles and have 3 kids. My cars are CLEAN. Then I go look at cars people are selling and they say it's in "excellent condition," etc. Then I arrive and from 50ft away I can already tell it's worse than any of my cars have ever been.

You know, I really don't hate it and I think it looks better than that Fino thing despite what Drew said. I'd probably take it on if I knew what the base car was. Only problem with projects like these is what that they sound like, and what the interior ends up like.

The 3800 series is a great engine. The down side here is trying to be a Lamborghini, but ultimately falling short no matter how much you spend. I had this thought back when I was a teenager. Now I would never buy one of these kits. Just get a Factory five kit car.

The EM1 Si is the "rarest" Si of them all. Everyone wants the 99 and 00 Si so I can see why they inflate the prices but 20k is too much. Plus people only look for the EBP color so that guy is smoking that authentic shit for wanting 20k for the black one.

ebp is the the most common color, the rarest is milano red, which can fetch high prices, I would say that black em1 could probably get 15k maybe, the wheels and seats alone are about 5k and the swap if the trans is matching could be another 4-8k depending on miles

It's actually an EM1. It's worth $5-6 uncompleted. I'd say it's worth around $10-15k in the condition it's in. Also pending on location.

The EK was only like $3K too high depending on what market it's in, the Type R swap makes the difference otherwise he'd be crazy. In my mind it's worth less without the original engine and I would never buy it even though Si are becoming rare. A standard EK with Type R swap would be around $8k-$10k.

The supercharger pulley doesn't even line up with rest of the pulleys. The water pump outlet seems to long to put the hose and what looks like an idler pulley is right in front of it. It looks like a lot more engineering to be done.

Drew should do a track focused build for his next car. Not just focus on straight line power but pullin some G’s through the corners. He should get like an e36 or a NB miata, or maybe a MK5 Supra and do 400 horsepower or less track build

The b18 with trans in that si costs like 50% or more of what he has the car listed for. The ek9 type r headlights are like 1k alone. Even though it’s listed for 20k the owner is most likely still losing money

i own a celica gt and seeing that riced one in a decently good condition really hurt cos mine really needs a lot of body work like it has damaged paint and dents but it somehow looks cleaner than this rice ass one
