I too was a waiter and waited on a ton of celebrities. What many celebrities don't get is that if you treat your waiter badly, news spreads quickly about what a douchebag you are. What I don't get is that many actors waited tables so you'd think once they had success they'd remember what it was like and treat their waiters well.

I've met a lot of celebrities when I worked in restaurants, and that's a setting where they aren't really "on" as much as at an event, and I wasn't someone they needed to impress, so I generally got pretty much their real selves. In the rare exceptions, you can tell they're being fake.

Exactly! But what’s sad is most people who say what you’ve just said would call you a hater for it, which is just not true. It’s just reality. I suppose it’s because those people who label the truth tellers as “haters” simply think less of anyone who uses their bodily autonomy to get cosmetic procedures (both invasive and non-invasive). They inadvertently cause others to deny procedures that they get, whether they are celebrities or your everyday person.

Oh wow I had LASIK around mid 2000s. It’s the best thing I ever did. I was so blind. I just checked my eyes and it’s been almost years now and I still see 20/20

@@jazcc you’re one of the lucky ones! I found out the doctor too much off my cornea when 17 years later I couldn’t read road signs. I’m in glasses now and cannot wear contact lenses with because I have corneal ectasia. There are millions of people with LASIK complications.

my dad has asked me if i want lasik a couple times since i‘ve been an adult (30s now) mostly cause my older cousin had a good experience but i will always be scared especially cause i probably will have other eye things when i‘m older if my grandmothers are any indication

Does no one notices how regular people’s faces change with age too? I’m not saying that she didn’t have work done, but my face used to be more rounded at the jaw and cheeks when I was in my 20’s, and now that I’m 40 I have more pronounced cheeks, and my jaw seems wider. Never had work done in my life, not even botox. People really need to stop seeing plastic surgery in everything.

Been regularly plucking my eyebrows thin since i started working in 2009 but during covid, i didn't bother since i was holed up at home. It grew back like a weed to its previous thickness. I'm the same age as Emma. Maybe we're not yet old enough for it not to grow back, or maybe we're just lucky. 😅

@@1412mariLUnaw some ppls eyebrows arent wimpy. I still pluck mine and they start growing back within a couple days strong as ever. Plus she probs got an eyebrow lamination to make it look more bushy if she did anything. Not to mention the power of makeup. Doing eyebrow transplants is not exactly….

You’re right. I saw old pictures of her much younger and had a shock, she looked so different and then had a lot of work done to look like the Emma we know. I wish she would have stayed that way, so pretty but now she looks harsh and strange.

I saw one picture in particular where she had straight brown hair with full bangs and she kinda look like a sister of young Jennifer Aniston, her eyes specifically looked very similar🤔

Fallacy. Any menopause specialist will tell you that not only is it caused by hormonal changes, but the distribution of fat is very different in perimenopausal and menopausal women. My entire body type changed, not just the added weight. I went from a thin hourglass to an apple.

Menopause is not responsible for gaining this fat, it’s the food you eat. As we age, our metabolisms slow down, and some of us become more metabolically resistant. So as I already stated, we need to watch what we eat as we age, as we are not able to process it as efficiently as before, leading to weight gain. This goes for men too, who obviously do not experience menopause.
