Today I'm going to take you on one of my favorite water hikes and it's in my top five favorite hikes ever! Best time to visit this beautiful desert oasis is late winter through late spring for as much water as possible! Hiking through creeks and streams, camping under the stars, and hanging out under a waterfall are some of my favorite activities. Follow long for the adventure and don't miss the next one!

Good Morning Dr. Hannah, so nice to see you! Oasis: A fertile or green area in a desert or wasteland, made so by the presence of water. I’d say that checks ALL the boxes. Hannah Bear, I’m not so sure about that, but I’ll go with it. Water is life! Thank you for climbing up the rocks at the big waterfall, that really gives us a sense of enormity of it. Top 5 hike, for sure, every second of the hike is postcard-worthy…just stunning. Even the salad is postcard perfect! Have a beautiful day and thanks for taking me along 🤗

It's the attention to the little things, such as the hummingbird & the just bloomed flower. Those trees appear other worldly, like something out of a Sci-Fi film, but the best part was under the waterfall: if only those rocks could speak, the stories they could tell..... *you're as sure footed as a mountain goat

I’m happy to see you exploring the natural beauty of the canyons of Palma springs. I moved here many years ago because I thought it was paradise. I still can’t think of anywhere else I’d rather live. You should take a trip out to the Living Desert wildlife preserve as well. There are over 300 miles of trails in the Coachella Valley. Much to explore and see!❣️

Considering you made the same hike about two weeks ago in the snow , that five mile hike must have been a piece of cake , 🙂. Those huge palms were like something out of " Lord of the Rings . " Honestly , you bring us to some spectacular countryside , even the mostly dry , arid desert . Do natives still live there ? Another wonderful video , many thanks .
