Thanks for the review. I use a Ghost X, and am interested in getting a camera with image stabilisation. The 4K+ seems to tick the box, though I still think the GoPro cameras produce better quality videos, but I DO like the size, shape of the Drift ones. Still undecided, 4K+ or GoPro hero 8 black are similar prices.

Nice video. I have a Ghost X but I find it performs very poorly at night. I recently had a close shave with a close passing vehicle but couldn't make out the number plate on the video. So some night footage of the 4K+ would be helpful too (like you allude to at the end). Stay safe :)

Well I bought the XLPro this week and the thing doesn’t work at all I have been trying to charge it for the past 3 days and it won’t even switch on or put the internet light on either . Tried contacting Drift and nothing, can’t speak with anyone so now stuck with it and over £200 out of pocket .As far as I am concern I would not advise buying this camera . Cheers : )

I had the Ghost XL AND LOVED IT until this waterproof camera let in water on a rainy day. So much for the waterproof camera. The thing that I loved about it was the ability to do TAG your videos using the remote. So when this camera packed in the company offered me the Ghost 4K+ and just pay the difference. I excepted the offer thinking I am going to get the top of the range but did I. I soon found out when I tried using the TAG feature. For a start off there is no remote, you have to use your phone, but there is no way to TAG your video using the phone. The only way is to use the camera switch itself. It does not make any as to why they have taken away the remote from this camera. Without the remote you can n out properly use the tag feature. Any ideas.

There is another Ghost drift camera XL. I am doing my research on You Tube both the X and XL have very good reviews. There is a know problem with the microphone connection with the cord supplied. Your video is very good thank you very much. I do not like having a square box attached to my helmet.

Hi there - thanks for the super helpful video. Picked up the 4K+ this week. Did first test run today - not bad at all. Were you able to get hold of the full user manual? Only the quick start guide is on the Drift website. Looked at the 4K full manual which states that stabilisation can be used at 2.7k (25/30 fps) as well as with 1080p. Did my test run at 2.7k/25fps but it did not look stabilised. It is true, as you say, that stabilisation is only for 1080p on the 4K+? Thanks for any help - need that manual!! Cheers - Neil

Hi great review. Do you know the differences between the 4K and 4K plus? The reason I ask is the Drift website does not mention image stabilization for the 4K plus and only has the quick start guide available. Do you know if the 4K full manual is relevant to the 4K plus? Thanks.

Yo compré una drift Ghost XL después de 2 meses un día Solamente llegue a conectarlo porque se me descargó totalmente y estaba muerta no encendió nunca más debido a esto volví a comprar una ghost 4k+ venía funcionando muy bien aunque esta última me daba el problema que calentaba y la batería era muy pobre no duraba mucho .... mi sorpresa fue que nuevamente esta otra cámara me dio el mismo problema la conecte y no funcionó estaba muerta ahora tengo dos cámaras estropeadas y no sé qué hacer no sé qué hacer si alguien me ayuda por favor SOS

Hi does the XL have image stabilisation Amazon are selling it and say it does have it but the online manual there is no mention of it. there is a outlet selling it for £117 inc postage seems a good by.
