Drift quick & easy 1/76 Turbo Racing C64 "MAGIC" setup!

just got one. was so confused trying to control with every setting at 10. but with everything at 5 (and gyro a bit lower) it's so smooth !

Excellent describing on everything on the type of vehicle and everything I love this video just because I wanted one but now I know everything there is to know about it and I'm getting one I do have the stunt police truck and I love it this is totally different and I'm going to love that with the same track and all thank you for your courtesy you have a blessed day and Holiday

I picked up three today. I got the monster truck cop car. The red and black looks like a charger race car and the blue drifter that’s in the video I like all of them except the drifter because of the way it shakes. Maybe I just have to learn it better I have the plane black race one coming tomorrow and I actually ordered the little semi truck, but I actually ordered it straight from China because they had it the cheapest I think it came to 70 bucks. Everything included normally I would order from Amazon because I want things overnight, but this truck I wasn’t dying for and it was literally, less than half of what Amazon wanted. I think there was another site who wanted like 125 for the truck or something but I still went with Alibaba for 70 shipped. I ordered the mat from Amazon, but that is not coming until early July. It’s the large one out of the two I’m going to make a video shortly about them myself.

Thanks for the comment. The drifter really only shakes bad if you have a surface with too great of surface tension (tackyness). If you get the same track as I got you will find that it shakes a lot less, and will drift great once you dial the settings in to your driving style some.

Thanks for the sub and comment. Start with these St.D/R - 7/8 Th.D/R - 5/6 SVT - 5/6 then make very very small adjustment to SVT if car shakes too much on a driftable surface. Start with speed setting of 50%. Please let us know how you do Reply

Interesting my old one which I could never drift doesn't have the metal under the front bumper. Maybe the one I have has no gyro either. Good to see them improve the product.

If you have a gyro the transmitter will have an SVC adjusting knob, I got the C-64 because it seemed to have the best features of any.

Wow You make it look pretty good. I have had a heck of a time getting this car to drift right. Could you please help out with the setup? If that's at all possible. I would really appreciate it.

Holy smokes you guys are my neighbors. I’d guess you went to Prop Shop on Van Dyke for this car (I was wondering if they would have them since P and D went out of business.

@@kristopherjones126 I worked at P&D for years and sadly Pat died so they had to close. Prop Shop is only 2 miles from me. I got my C64s' from Amazon and the C75 from AliExpress actually. Get a few cars and come on over an race, I have several tracks to choose from even.

Can one transmitter control different cars (one at a time) How big is track? Width and length? Where did you buy? Oh and UP THE IRONS!

The track is about 2.5 x 3.5 ft. Yes you can bind any of the cars to the same radio using the bind clip. I bought on Amazon but you can get on AliExprss or Ebay. 22 , the avenue, thats the place where we all go. Eddie rules!!!

Is the material of the race track the same used in formica / laminated wood? i tried glass and tiles but it doesn't drift well

Its actually PET plastic with an anti-skid surface on one side, very difficult to source so far. The closest so far is frosted mylar which would need to be surfaced to remove the gloss. I am working on a video of it, stay tuned and subscribe I guess

@@markshomehobbies Thanks for the great info! My computer desk is made up of laminated plywood and my c64 drifts nicely there, the brand of the laminate itself is "Formica". They have matte finish, buy the black one and maybe you can just draw your drift track with just white paint. I'll buy one this week and maybe share a video of it.

Th.D/R trim only is only used when you set your speed to 100%. Doesnt work in 20 or 50%

Yes I use 100% and dial in the D/R. I didn't know that D/R is off on those settings, thanks

It just need wide steering angle like 1/10 scale.

The car has over-steer from the factory. The steering D/R is used to decrease the response, and the toe-out rack helps to create some under-steer for drifting.

This isn‘t drifting, and imo it’s marketed the wrong way. This is RWD racing on cold roads with old street tires, and if you look at it that way it’s perfect to have fun racing with your friends. Gotta buy a bigger and nicer track than that of course. But yeah, this has nothing to do with something like 1/10 RWD drifting with a RDX, YD, RMX, etc…

@@muaythai193 actually, I bought little one. And front set of plastic tires. I think if I can make it drift anywhere near 1/10 rwd machines.
