Drill press maintenance

The drill press, in my opinion, is the least maintained tool in the shop. We expect it to go forever but if you do want it to go forever, you need to maintain it as well. A periotic tune up is all you need.

Appreciate the video. However my shop teacher would have yelled at me for working on a machine while its plugged in. I was looking to see if there were bearings that needed to be greased. Thanks for posting this.

I put medium strength blue loctite on my handle rod and handle ball threads.. kept loosening. not any more. But can loosen if ever needed.

I don't know the name brand but I see them everywhere. Looks like a Vise Grip that bolts into one of the slots on the table. Stevo
