It really does sound great doesn't it? I hope you aren't sad to find out that the engine is a modern fuel injected computer controlled Ford Zetech. Still great though, if you ask me!

Thanks for sharing. Currently having my late father's +2S bottom half rebuilt after 25 years of sitting. Can't wait to get it on the road. Your car looks and sounds great.

Is that a different gearbox? Also the handbrake is in the wrong place and the dash looks different. Sounds nice though.

I had a 1972 Lotus Elan+2. Red with silver top. I don’t know of any all red Elans+2 in 1972. Was yours repainted? Great and fun car, as long as you could keep them running! Thanks for the memories. Also the Lotus world championship badges on the left hand side of the car are missing, indicating the entire care has been repainted.
