For the ticks been using permethrin spray for years, works very well. Either sawyers or repel brand gear and clothing spray. Spray your clothes and let them dry, lasts all season. Good hunt.

Yes sir.... Had a hunt much like that yesterday. In the woods at 1245, bird on the ground before 1:30. He probably gobbled 75 times. Hadn't been on this place this year, mainly going in to check it out. Great video, as always. Appreciate what you do.

The shortest hunt I ever had was literally less than one minute. Just sat down in my ladder stand, nocked an arrow and was reaching out to hang up the bow. Movement caught my eye. It was one of our target bucks coming in. He dropped about 40 yards away. Was crazy!

Awesome hunt Jeremy 😊 Myself and my family grew up with Remington 8 70s built-in Ilion New York It was very sad to see that they had to move out of New York State it's only an hour from where I live where the manufacturing facility was 😮 Killed many a bird here at my camp in the finger lakes within the first 20 minutes of legal light But the bird population in New York has been devastated For a couple years now 😮 Good luck in your next state wherever you go 😊 I've used glass calls for 25 years They are awesome😊

I hunted opening day here in East Texas one year when I was following thunderstorms to public land. I had to sit in my truck and wait for the storms to move out. It was daylight when I left the truck, walked 250 to 300 yards down a firelane to a pipeline, called and a 2 year old gobbled back on the ground. Sat down and barely had time to get ready and he walked up in front of me. Then he left the woods on my shoulder. God is good!!!

Ive been a die hard spring turkey hunter for over 20 years.. never hunted anywhere but my own state.. i have been blessed to tag out just about every year since id say 2011.. i said all of that to say this.. i have never killed a bird past 1:00pm.. Most of my birds including one last weekend have been mid day strike ups.. Last saturday i struck a bird at 10:30 and he was over my shoulder at 10:36.. i had a whoping 3.5 minutes of video on the old tactacam haha.. my hat seriously goes off to you for self filming Turkeys.. it blows me away that people can get it done filming themselves.. anyways awesome man!! Woodhaven calls makes a pot call cover that snaps on easy and protects your surface so you don’t rub the scratching spot off. Most pot calls are the same size so it will likely fit your glass call. Another made in America company. I have a cover for a custom glass call and it really helps. Just wanted to pass that along if you or anyone reading this is interested.

Last Friday was set up at 5am,he gobbled at 5:20 . Gave him a few tree yelps and he pitched down at 6:02 and was dead at 6:03

I killed a bird like you just did many years ago in Mississippi !! I left my camp and walked a couple of hundred yards and sat and called and in less than 3 minutes three big longbeards came running up in my face and I had to kill one in self defense !! I love to travel on these hunts with you and enjoy every adventure you take !! Keep it up !!
