Goog to see Mike Cooley at the end. You had me worried for a second. But, yeah, the DBT are awesome, but with a sober Isbell they are unbelievably fantastic!

They are both better now. 95% of Trucker fans who still go to shows say the Truckers are at their best. And Jason's work speaks for itself.

It’s misery. I love the music and I love my black brothers and sisters. Did not and would not vote for Trump but I can’t think of how this country would end up if we just shut law enforcement down.

@@WellseeTheend that shows how uninformed you are with the situation. there are other ways to do things & law enforcement in america has proven over&over that it is a completely unjust & unfair shitshow. its also proven that it does not want to & will not fix itself. if any business was messing up as much as law enforcement does, they'd quickly be shut down&replaced. But you've been brainwashed that putting on a uniform somehow makes people heroes & that the overly militarized violent police system we have is the only way to do things, so you don't want to know about better ways. you just pretend defund the police can only mean lawless anarchy in the streets with criminals having free reign over everyone. sad that you are so under informed yet feel that you have so much to add to the convo.

Good for you guys! Black lives do matter and some of us love the great songs and music JI and the DBT band did. The 400 Unit plays great music with Jason Isbell. My favorite "white man" is the super talented Jason Isbell. Not to worry about losing support for your music. Plenty of people willing to run out and buy a JI and Drive By Trucker CD. The bands and Jason, put out great music. What's not to love? What exactly is wrong with having a social conscience and a moral sense of justice? It is the 21st century, people. America is great and we're never returning to the slave plantations, because BLACK LIVES MATTER!

You have to be joking. Did you even watch?. They made immediate eye contact in the first 30 seconds, smiled and jammed together shoulder to shoulder to close the song. Then they hugged and smiled. Jeez.

Except when PH was singing, he was grinning the whole time, jammed shoulder-to-shoulder with Jason, and ~kissed~ him at song's end. Yep, that reads "uncomfortable". It's so clear how much genuine love there is between all of them.

This is a beautiful song as everything was on Decoration Day. The absolute screaming when Isbell sings is kinda disrespectful to Cooley and Hood. DBT were great before him and great after him.

Dino Velvet DBT is much better live than they were when Jason was with them. The new bass player and the multi-instrumentalist really tie the room together. It also seems like Cooley is just a tab less sloppy drunk than he used to be. They wrote their best albums with Jason but they're better live now. I just wish they played Jason's DBT songs now.
