You are entering a city called Culvert City. My husband and I used to teach at the Saint Ignatius primary school.

That is called the Kanuku Mountain Range. It separates the North and South Savannah’s.My husband knows the interior very good. Since before we were not married he used to head most of the schools because at that time no one didn’t want to go to work up there. When we got married I decided to go up in there to teach too. I had a six month baby and we survive very well. I taught in the entire South Rupununi. It ‘s a very healthy life.I live in New York now but I always want to return to Guyana and I will go back to work and live in the Rupununi. So safe and clean.

Lethem was not developed at that time. We used to go in the Takatu River and meet the Brazilian in boats called Floating shops to get groceries. I see that it is so much developed now.

Hi Rav. It's the 3rd time I am going to Letham. Not in real life but on you tube? Yourself ARD and Din .I left Guyana 43 years ago and only saw a bit of the coastland being a Berbecian. Please continue to post. I am getting a chance to see areas that I read about in Geography of Guyana. Thanks.

Ravi, them interior roads better than your city’s. All them girls still in GT or they scarce. Why you have a check point and a gate going to Lethem if your in the same country? Boy you interviewing politicians, I will have to give you a thumbs down on that one. The man in the street would be a better option. Those ppl are living the high life. I remember once their former president said you don’t have to live in a loogie to be poor. I don’t see too many poor Guyanese living in mansions and consider themselves poor. You wouldn’t hear that language from the opposition! It’s better you do the video on the rice mill than chilling with politicians. More beneficial, at least to me. Your country is sparsely populated. You need to import more Chinese/immigrants cause the Guyanese are still leaving for the good life. Enjoy my friend.
