RIP Jessi Combs. Being a Brit, I want the land speed record to stay in the UK but I also wanted the North American Eagle to beat the current record with Jessi behind the wheel. Although the whole team deserve credit for all the hard work and dedication they gave in building a great car, Jessi was an inspiration to all. Rest in peace, you'll never be forgotten.

Man, some Brits are getting bent out of shape over this video. I'm a Brit and it's interesting to watch Americans drive on the left for the first time. I found it interesting the first time I drove on the right. London is a pain in the arse to drive through at any time, once you're somewhere else you barely notice being on the other side of the car when you change sides.

Guys done well. Being British, it was even nerve racking for me on my first time driving in London & I'm used to left hand traffic RHD driving. Should try driving in Paris, it's pretty scary but at least they drive on the same side as you.

It is good to live where you need to switch sides at borders because it keeps your driving sharp.

Have a look at change day in Sweden 1967 when they changed from right to left hand drive. Also in the 30's in Italy you drove on one side in the cities and the other in the country.

Yep I agree. Driving on the opposite side to what you normally drive on can be a bit daunting, especially if you have ONLY been driving on the left side all your life and then need to drive on the right side. But it can be done. But you need to concentrate at some intersections and exits and service roads and unmarked country roads.

Thanks for doing this. I want to see all the good stuff while on business next month. I dare to rent a car (must be automatic though, I cant do manual) and drive on the OTHER side of the road. I just hope my wife is as humorous about the danger.

I live in London but I would never drive in the centre, it's a motorist's nightmare. Take the bus or the underground.

It took me about 30minutes to get used to driving on the right in France for the first time. Just means concentrating on what you are doing and ignoring distractions.

I prefer driving on the left and especially with a manual gearbox. Its feels more natural than driving on the right..

I live in the uk and when my dad drives in places like spain ( In a right hand drive) he doesn't really mind. And when I see right hand drives from europe in the uk they usually don't look to phased.

Please could you give me a list of all countries that drive on the left. In Europe I believe it's just the UK, Ireland, Malta and Cyprus but elsewhere epecially in southern Asia it's interesting for me

do the narrow country roads at the beginning and you freak out..... ongoing traffic seems to crash into you directly.... all a matter of perspective but at the beginning you have a hard time not hitting the wall, the green or parking cars on the left side...

There are plenty of signs showing if its oneway . On the road surface ond the side of the road stop beening stupid i drive all around the world , its not difficult.

The thing that terrifies me is the feet. Slamming on the accelerator when you should push the break and running over a pedestrian. No one discusses the feet.

You did well, but you would not have been as worried had you been in your own car, ie, a left hand drive, I drive to France in my right hand drive car and its much easier as I know the car, width, length etc.

Listen up back in the day all of Europe drove on the left this went on for hundreds of years until Napoleon came along .He had conquered Madrid to Moscow and Denmark to the boot of Italy. He then ordered all his soldiers and supplies on one side of the road and civilians on the other . Because Napoleon did not conquer Great Britain he did surrender at Waterloo. It was Europe that changed not Great Britain. You guys went on to say twenty two country's in the world drive on the left. May I remind you Yanks that Great Britain had an empire the monde had never seen before. That is why these countries drive on the eff too.
