Each week night, THE LATE LATE SHOW with JAMES CORDEN throws the ultimate late night after party with a mix of celebrity guests, edgy musical acts, games and sketches. @@FirestormX9 I doubt that audience really brings in much cash. Hosting an audience also requires extra staff, while this current format could be sent to multiple streaming services with basically zero effort and sell unlimited ads.

@@kjell4439 it might appear that way but its not the case. These famous talk show tickets under large networks are actually quite expensive and in great demand. They even use a lottery system for some shows. Thats indicative of the number of bookings they get. As far as the building staff is concerned, it is only the peripheral staff that may be suspended from duty without pay. Majority of the maintenance crew is not laid off. For the KZfaq part, if you look at the views this show gets on KZfaq its only going to average in the lower 6 digits. Thats far too less for the business model these networks follow. 6 digit views even in a month per video generates surprisingly less revenue than one might assume. They need consistent high 6 digit views for that to be considerable. Like 7-800k or something

I often comment that the show is off the rails and I love it, but seeing Cordo with his legs in the stirrups simulating a home enema? I mean...there are no rails. The rail has gone. AND I LOVE IT 😂

You know t-shirts, a board game, Lego sets, Ian hats, a Nick stress doll where the eyes bug out, Reggie sunglasses, a Susan plushie, a Pete bobble head, one of those old Time best of CDs with Steve’s news jingles, Rob stationery, Guillermo handcuffs, Hagar shot glasses…The possibilities are endless. I should probably go to sleep.

Most drive-thru's require an actual vehicle to serve the customer afaik. One time, my car-less relatives actually grabbed a nearby grocery shopping cart from the parking lot. One of them hopped inside, and the other pushed. It counted to the fast food location as a "vehicle" and they got the food they came for! =P

I recently started watching TLLS w/ Corden after Covid hit March of 2020. I watched the episodes up until now without a crowd, and the ones before that. There is no doubt James is better with just crew interaction. The crowd just adds tension and responses that don't always sync with other viewers. There are jokes that just get a quick chuckle from live crowd that deserve a standing ovation. Crowds are a waste of time and energy unless the studio really profits from it.
