Make sure you thank no one other than Trudeau, Ford and your local wealthy capitalist loving neighbour who all manufacture inflation in collusion to enrich their own pockets on the backs of other people who make 1/4 of their salary.

I always wondered why vacant land isn’t reserved for people that want or need camping space. They should not be in public parks.

NOBODY in Vaughan ACTUALLY STOPS at stop signs, they just roll them, often at high speed. Right on your video, while you were recording ALL OF THE VEHICLES FAILED TO STOP. Lack of Enforcement, and drivers NOT UNDERSTANDING TWO THINGS: Stop means STOP...to see what's coming, and what the cross traffic is, and that the word MAXIMUM on speed limit signs doesn't mean 'suggested MINIMUM. New signs with "Speed Limit" on them might help, but I wouldn't bet on it. Education is SO RIDIUCLOUS in Ontario, that I sincerely doubt that most know what the word MAXIMUM means....and half of them can't read anyway, so "Speed Limit" which is used elsewhere, in places that don't cater to drivers who can't read ENGLISH....won't make a difference.

The 16 year old boy was my Math teacher's cousin's son, teaching at Father Michael Mcgivney Highschool and when my teacher returned to school, she explained to my class about how the 24 year old driver was under some influence of drugs and was later bailed out. The death of the teacher's cousin's son had a big impact on her family and I hope that reckless driving can stop.

So what do you say ,two bad outcomes already in play before the crash ,1)speeding and dark outside, 2) 10:45pm a 16 year old on a mini bike at night ,all this was totally avoidable ,i know the boy payed with his dear life but at 16 my son wouldve never been out at 10:45 pm at night on or even walking a mini bike i see 3 or 4 of those mini bikes all the time doing tricks ,wheelies,no helmets and riding on martingrove like they're cars or something sadly i expected this .

Get ready for tolls on roads in downtown. Like New York has To pay for repairs. Take transit. But it also has problems with repairs. Ttc strike soon.

Some of these encampment are nicer than housing options in the city. People are going to slowly shift to building their own homes in the next ten years

It's a disappointment to hear all these news defiantly the solutions are crazy. Defiantly toronto is no longer a great city nor the urban. Not did we have homeless issue already now there is more new commer n hitting the system hard that normal residents are finding it hard to find jobs n support 🤔

About the encampments, Where can these people truly go though?. Just Unreal. Its long overdue please bring in modular homes for our citys vulnerable and homeless. The # of downtown encampments in this country is mind blowing & heartbreaking. Imagine being kicked out of a tent for not having a place to live🙄🙄 Canada has alot of explaining to do if we let this continue with 0 accountability , Change & modular housing. So Embarassed of our country💔

You watch the part where the city is broke, super duper broke. Where we going to pull modular homes out of our butt?
@Desireew123

@@moddaboyVery true.There is a federal budget for homelessness though, they spend millions just on kicking the homeless out of the tent city's annually and the modular plan has been done in some smaller towns. I started a Go Fund me to do forty modular homes for Toronto's downtown encampments hoping with just a couple bucks a person we can rally and do it ourself and have the government match it and do another forty. Let me know if you can help🙂

You know that this is the fault of capitalism and the enclosure of the commons. Before the rise of capitalist ideals if you needed housing you could just take the resources you needed from the commons (land that anyone could use). But in the 1700+1800's rich people who already had land decided that all those common areas needed to become private property (their private property). Capitalism's end result is that capital (money) becomes more and more concentrated in fewer and fewer hands. I guarantee that by 2050 there will be trillionaires if we continue on this path. Some people will have enough personal wealth to support billions of lives and others will have less than nothing. After 250 years the flaws are becoming apparent and blind faith in markets or capital will not solve our societies issues.

The whole country can see what liberal policy does to society. Lives lost, families finances in ruin, depression, drug addiction and starvation in a nation of abundant resources. How is it possible? Mismanagement of government. Vote them out.
