She was crossing the street an adult.. I don’t think there’s anything abnormal about that, as long as they were using a crosswalk

@@mayalizzie4411 my response was only to her question about why a 3 year old was in the street. That’s not an abnormal thing, a 3 year old is old enough to walk alongside an adult. It also states there was a 4 month old and 2 year old with the woman so it’s possible the woman could’ve been carrying the 4 month old.

@@mayalizzie4411 just for clarity, I’m not defending anyone in the situation, simply answering a question… I did just realize this is in the United States though so I’m not clear on how things work there but where I’m from, that’s not an odd thing to see a child that age crossing the street with a parent without being in a stroller. There’s also no law here for that. But I understand things work differently in other countries so I guess I should’ve kept that in mind.

Sounds as if they weren't being watched. A slew of times throughout the years, I've seen children standing or a stroller in the street while the "mom" is standing on the sidewalk. 🙄😳🤔

She was with an adult. Perhaps they were coming from the hospital or one of many things.

parents are careless, drivers are careless. Its a pandemic. People in NYC especially just have no seriousness to them. Reckless all the way around, from pedestrians to drivers. More care is needed. Go slower, look both ways, hold you kids hand.
